I ordered a hungry man special today.On the surface the meal seems no different from a breakfast. However, the bread is well toasted, the eggs are well fried, the steak is tendon and the spaghetti in soup is chewy. The tea element of their HK style milk tea is rich, though less creamy and silky.The red bean curd pork hock noodle in soup is highly recommended. The pork hock is nicely preserved.The attendants are very nice, polite and attentive. The place is also clean. The sun room is sufficient and delightful.

Satay beef vermicelli had no satay flavour. Iced lemon tea was too sweet. Milk tea needs improvement, lacking black tea flavour.Edit 2023-06-17: Satay Beef Vermicelli had no satay flavour. First time in all the HK cafes the beef was not flavourful. Base was way too spicy it was hard to eat. But very good portions, and inexpensive. Reducing my rating from 3 to 2.

Super affordable HK cafe!Nothing super special about this place but they definitely deserve 4 stars for being extremely affordable, big portions and fast!I got the black pepper steak with rice ( $12-14), comes with a soup and a drink. The food here is what you expect walking into a HK cafe, comforting and really hits you in the memory lane.

Ordered sweet corn with fish filet on rice..its liked fish swimming in white cream soup with minimum corn and odd taste of coconut…if u dont have that dish then shouldnt put in in ur menu.

Ordered thru APP the 2nd time after a long while. The portion seems to be shrunk quite a bit, especially the baked style rice dishes.========================Food's Not bad. Price is good.

Good service place with nice waiters but the food quality is not good. The noodles we got were soggy and the flavour was not there. Kind of taste like if you were to try to make the soup at home for the first time. Food doesn't present to well either.However it is still cheap where you can get a satay beef noodle with egg sandwich for under $10 but again food quality suffers because of this.

Have been coming to this place for over a year now, since my friends introduced me to it. The place is clean with a good atmosphere. Service has always been good and courteous. My favorite meal is the filet mignon dinner. The 2 pieces are a of generous proportions, and cooked as ordered. The accompanying dishes and drink are ok, but that's not why I am here for. A similar dinner offering at other restaurants will easily cost 3 or 4 times more. So this is value for your money. Highly recommend this place, as demonstrated by my repeated visits.

Worst service, the staff was so rude. We sat down and kindly asked the staff if she could help clean the table. She said there are so many tables and you chose a dirty one". Food is bad too

Metro Square Café Restaurant
This is a more traditional Hong Kong style restaurant. The menu covers the majority of traditional dishes plus some innovative items. Quality of food is acceptable and price is fair. The restaurant is not big but is having a designated takeout table. The service is friendly and efficient. Overall it is clean and hygienic.
