Cozy breakfast and comfort food placeThe little restaurant is very popular during lunch time, but service was quick and courteous.I ordered the poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and mariposa duck confit over toasted English muffin, it was delicious! The homemade fried potatoes were also perfectly done, crunchy on the outside and soft and flavourful on the inside.The coffee was also very tasty. Recommend!

“The food speaks for itself” is what I think best describes Wilf & Ada’s. There’s no need for over the top presentation with the meals served here; the flavour is simply phenomenal. I’ve never had better poached eggs anywhere else! I completely understand why Ottawans are willing to wait upwards of an hour to get a spot in this restaurant. Already looking forward to returning again for the french toast — my friend raves about them being the best she’s ever had, and I believe her!

Wild & Ada's is a cozy little joint offering some big time flavorful food! I enjoyed some very delicious french toast with fresh berries, pure Canadian maple syrup and some really tasty bacon. They offer gluten free option and is also vegetarian friendly, keeping offerings for a diverse party like ours, that will be sure to keep everyone happy? Parking can be challenging in the area and the place is small so a wait is likely, however worth it!

Such a great neighbourhood brunch spot! Called this morning and ordered 5 brunch meals - variety of vegetarian and meat options. It was ready in less than 30 mins for pick up! So impressed. Such nice people on the phone taking our order. The scrambled eggs were done perfectly. The home fries “homies” are some of the absolute best!!!!! Done to perfection. My friend said the sausage was great too but I didn’t try it myself. Would go back again and again

Friendly and attentive staff. One of the best Egg Benedict I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend their Egg Benedict with Duck confit - what an amazing combination! My partner had the breakfast burger which was ok. They also have daily specials which are not on the regular menu. The prices are on the higher end but I think it’s worth the price for the good service and food. This restaurant has a very positive vibe and supports many different causes from the looks of it which is great. It’s very busy on the weekend, so be prepared for some wait time.

The service and staff here are exceptional! We loved the vibe and really enjoyed our food, however we have enjoyed yummier breakfast and our expectations are high.The bacon is very average, but carries the price tag of artisan. The bread was good, the eggs cooked well and I agree with many of the other reviews that their home fries are quite good! I beans were my favourite part of the meal! He had the duck confit Benny and really enjoyed it!We enjoyed the art quite a bit and left with a piece for our collection.

Hands down, our favourite breakfast location in Ottawa. Friendly service and a quaint setting with awesome food and coffee! It is worth the extra time to be placed on the waiting list.

Came here for breakfast around 9:30 as a group of 4 and waited around 10 minutes to be seated. Food was super fun and fresh!!CRISPY AND CRUNCHY POTATOES! BIG FLAVOURS IN ALL THE FOOD! OMNOMNOMNOM <33OVERALL: PASSED THE VIBE AND FLAVOUR CHECK ✅✅**Note: they only take debit card or cash!!

Great experience. Fresh food, locally prepared and farmed. Prices can be a bit high, but you're paying for quality of food, service, and experience. The options are excellent and unique. If you're not sure, just walk by and smell the fried bacon, it was quite convincing for me! The only negative is that the space is a bit small, and due to its popularity it gets packed quicky. So, well worth the wait.
