Manager watched us closely as we paid and later called to accuse us of stealing a $4 jar. Came back with the receipt and was told that sometimes people forget to scan stuff". Maybe do your job and say something while we're in the store instead of going to the register I used to get my number through my rewards account

COMPLETE RIP OFF! Only self checkout & the prices are INSANE. NO change rooms still. Save your money, Salvation Army is WAY better.

The staff are very helpful towards customer needs and are very courteous as well. The store is kept in good condition and is very clean. Covid standards are definitely followed here. It's good to know that you're using or reusing or recycling Goods which is good for the environment. I have found some collectibles in my time here which always makes me happy

RUDE…this location is terrible! We came to do some shopping and because there are no fitting rooms we asked if we would be able to return the stuff we bought, employees said yes as long as we have tags and receipt. Well wouldn’t you guess 3 things did not fit. We came back to return and were told they only accept exchanges, which was inconvenient but okay. We made the mistake of misplacing the receipt for one of the items and before shopping around we asked if any exception can be made and they said yes because the tag was still on the shirt. We shopped around and when we came to do the transaction and we’re met with the rudest manager of all time, Cam. Before we could explain that someone had just told us 10 minutes before that an exception would be made he started yelling and accusing us of trying to cheat the system. We will NEVER return. This place was inconsistent, dirty, and overpriced. This isn’t a VALUE village it’s more a WORTHLESS village.

Annoying that they haven't reopened their changing rooms, I used to come out with a pile of clothes, now they expect you to buy them go home and try them on and if they are no good, bring them back for a CREDIT NOTE/ not your money back!!! Really it's a con!!! Plus the prices are crazy $20 for 2nd hand joggers. I can order online for the same price with just as much chance that they will fit. Plus they are not a charity it's a private enterprise. I wont go again!!!

I was in the store a week ago and bought some figurines for 2.99 each. This week, the exact same figures are priced at 9.99. Come on, be consistent with your pricing. You're way over prices as it is, stop jacking things up! Typical american company...

My sister in law came here for the first time on July 7 in the afternoon to go shopping there for the first time and encountered a not so pleasant experience one lady yelled at her I’m watching u and she was noticing staff was following her only because she was carrying a reusable bag with her insulin for her diabetes and personal belongings for a company that shows on the website that they are partners with Canadian diabetes the staff don’t really seem to represent that in the store sense like they target people with medical conditions which is beyond disgusting and disrespectful I hope the the staff feels ashamed of themselves considering now she no longer feels comfortable bring her insulin with her out causing a huge danger that she could black out unconscious and putting her medical in danger this store clearly needs to be fixed their staffing and educating their employees towards customers

Great selection of housewares but plus size clothing is very limited and pretty much all awful (nothing appropriate for someone under 65 years of age). Also the self check out doesn't work well at all and yet that's pretty much all you can do as they have a skeleton crew working.

This location seems cleaner and better organized than others. When a for-profit thrift store is taking business from stores that used to use profits to help people, I expect more. Empty hand sanitizing stations means after you touch all the filthy merchandise there's no way to get that bacteria off your hands. Self check out only means less jobs for people at a company making $1B per year in profit. No change rooms and no returns means its a complete gamble if anything will fit you. This alone is the perfect reason not to shop here. Why would you gamble with random lines from random brands if you don't know if it'll fit? There are other options. Don't support Value Villages shareholders.
