The food is absolutely terrible. Not a busy place but service is slow.FOOD:• Crab cake: tastes like a chunk of salt, no flavors other than salty.• Burger and fries: fries is also very salty and the burger is just bad.DRINKS:I ordered a bellini and it was the only thing good on the table.INSIDE: quite big area but surprisingly not crowded when we arrived. However they don't have table big enough for a group of 7 so we had to squeeze in.SERVICE:Friendly but slow. The place was almost empty but we had to wait very long for our food.

Waitress was pretty bad, had no personality. Food was okay, liked the chicken meal. Sat on the patio but had to wait at the door ten minutes even thought there were many open tables out there. They sat us at a table without a working heater so we asked to move to one. Overall service needs some improvement.

Came here with a gf randomly during Pride Weekend and we were lucky enough to get seated on the patio. The atmosphere downtown near Dundas Square was absolutely buzzing and the restaurant was lively. To my surprise, service was quick and we got our multiple drinks, meals and dessert quite quickly!

I always loved to come to Jacks for fun cocktails and shareable chicken tenders. However, this location consistently lacks good customer service and food performance from the times I’ve visited.On my last visit, I ordered a fishbowl and specifically declined having it “jacked up”/with double shots. The young waiter then hands the bill off to me and I politely brought up that there was a mistake. However, instead of acknowledging the issue on whether or not it was miscommunication, I was rudely dismissed and he told me that I asked for the upsell - which I didn’t. Talk about terrible customer service.The food is okay here but the frozen beverages (which are my favourites from Jacks) severely takes the hit in my experience at the dundas location. Simply disappointing. Not to mention, the stack of side plates were once dirty as if it was used and left there to be used again. Are you kidding me?Overall the bloor yonge location is way better from food to service. I rarely complain but having multiple visits at this location being met with rude servers is something worth bringing attention to.

I got the coconut curry sauced n' tossed chicken fingers while my friend had the hot sauce version for dinner. Chicken fingers were nicely breaded and moist on the inside, but the coconut curry sauce lacked flavour. The fries were okay. It was quite a busy night so service was rather slow. Overall, it was enjoyable, but could be better.

Lively place located in the heart of the bustling Dundas st area, seems to have a sports bar theme judging from the ice hockey on multiple television screens with some thumping music to boot. Get in early or be prepared to wait outside to be seated. I give credit to the wait-staff who were very friendly. The food portions were good and it all tasted good, however the prices are a little steep. Then of course a tip is expected. Surely they're making enough profit off the food and beverages already?

Come here for the view not the food...I ordered the beer and cheddar soup, it came out cold, and the new truffle burger, the patties were so over cooked they were hard... and I found a vegetable sticker in my burgerThe wait staff were friendly, but a little too busy to check on us...

Great dinner experience. Loved the spicy salmon. Music was a nice vibe. Enough tvs with sports on. Slight views of Toronto. Overall enjoyed our dinner and would go back.

I tried the Mizo glazed salmon bowl here today and I must say it was absolutely delightful! The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavourful. The Mizo glaze added a delightful tangy and sweet touch to the dish, complementing the freshness of the vegetables and the fluffy rice. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied and full. The presentation was also good, with vibrant colors that made the dish even more appetizing.My friend ordered the medium rare steak, and it was a great option as well! The steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful pink center that was tender and juicy. The seasoning was just right, allowing the natural flavors of the steak to shine through. If you're a steak lover like my friend, I think you’ll also it here.

Great experience and great service. Hannah was our waitress and she just did amazing, very friendly and very helpful . Food was delicious and very generous portions. 100% recommendable!
