Austin Dog Grooming

Owner took care of my 13 year old Maltese with love. We asked for puppy cut and she looked so cute at the end. Nails, paws, ear drums and all the details were also done well. She even received a flower ribbon gift!

We have been taking our dog here for 4 years –back when they were located near Gatensbury. Our guy formed a great relationship with the lady who ran the place and her husband, even though he was scared at first / tried to bite her. When she told that she was retiring and selling the business we were admittedly concerned, but the couple who took over have done an excellent job! Both our dogs (we adopted a 5 month old puppy in January) were visibly more comfortable and had no paw hair left to get anything stuck to –no more licking in the middle of the night! I highly recommend this groomer and we will continue going back since it's so hard to find a groomer this detailed.

Came here before with my pomeranian mix dog (medium breed and was previously charged for a med breed $55) and was impressed by the grooming.Called in today to arrange an appointment after confirming their webpage, which clearly states that they groom small and medium breeds. When the lady picked up my call, she informed me that she doesn't do medium breeds anymore due to the pain in her shoulders.Misinformative website- maybe it should specify only small to tiny breeds?

We are new to the area and went with the Google reviews and took our little one here for the first time. And we are so happy we did. The lady was super friendly, our dog was a little terrified at first being a new place, so growled at her. But she was super friendly and knew how to handle the situation, and was able to easily take control. We will definitely be back.

Booked this place thinking they were the most reliable groomers I’ve gone to since this grooming appointment was for my graduation photos which my dog would be in. Found out they had changed ownership. The previous owners were lovely which is why I liked going here and understood and were accommodating. I told the groomers what I wanted, showed a picture and told them it was for my graduation photos so it was important. When I came back, I was visibly unhappy with my dogs haircut and did not like the look. The groomer said she was difficult, but I’ve brought her to 4 other groomers, even if she was difficult she still looked great after previous appointments . The owner did not care I was unhappy and was almost frustrated because it would be hard to cut the other dogs hair if the dog became dry in the bathtub. She did not provide any accommodation and did not even apologize she was just frustrated. My dogs hair is unevenly cut as shown, her face is not what I wanted (picture for reference of what her hair was supposed to look like) and her sanitary area was not cleaned. My other dog the poodle her ears were unevenly cut and her sanitary area was not well cleaned as well. Now I have to book a last minute appointment and pay another groomer to fix her face before photos on Thursday. It is unfortunate because I really liked this place and didn’t mind paying extra and going further to come to this groomer but now I would not recommend this place to my friends.

If this is your only option, you better buy an $14 hair clipper from Amazon and do it yourself at home. Our Puppy's haircut was terrible! Uneven and basically, ugly"

Used to go to a place that shut down unfortunately, they never had complaints about my dog. Took my dog for the first time here and was charged $55 for bath and groom. A week later I check their website and it says medium dogs are $45. I called and asked why they charged me more and she said oh because your dog tried to bite me so we charge extra. At no point when I paid was this communicated to me at all and nowhere on their website does it say they charge more for a dog trying to bite you. I assumed this was the price of the service as they did not say a single thing about an extra charge. Very unprofessional

I absolutely love this groomer. I have an anxiety filled dog who is extremely terrified of people.My dog is a rescue dog and I'm not kidding when I say this she's probably the worst dog they have had. She just gets her nails cut but they treat her absolutely amazing, fill her with love and are so gentle. I would not go anywhere else.There prices r ridiculously cheap I always tip them 20.00 just cause I can't get a better service anywhere else.Thank you so much for everything.

Well.. before and after. Not to mention that she did not pluck any of the hairs inside her ears or shave the paws cleanly. My dog also had clumps of hair in her eyes. Charged 68 for this, when she mainly did shaving. Worst experience I've ever had with groomers.
