This was such a fun experience! We came all beginners for a private group introduction lesson. It was a great time; not only fun, but something where you actually learn, and leave with a much better understanding and appreciation of the sport. Shawn was a great coach and we all had a wonderful time.

Had first lesson today along with a friend. Shawn & Andy were referred by another friend (believer it or not his last name is Archer). Shawn is an excellent instructor - patient, detailed, and an excellent coach on form and results for archery and getting started on equipment. I have arthritis and he even gave me tips on how to adapt what I do to shoot better. Trying to book more lessons! Thanks Shawn! Mark

I had limited experience in my past with archery, nothing groundbreaking but enough to understand the basics and a little beyond. I was looking to improve my life and start doing things I have an interest in again which eventually lead me to looking for courses on archery and that's how I found Shawn.I sent an email looking for information and quickly received a very friendly and informative email from an awesome dude named Andy who continued to reply swiftly and was very easy to communicate with. I set up a time to come in for a beginner lesson and eagerly waited for the day I would go.Come time for the lesson I show up to a small group of 5 including me and the instructor who was funnily enough named Shawn. Shawn was wrapping up another lesson and the way he interacted with his student who was obviously a regular gave me a very good first impression he was very personable and knew what he was talking about.The lesson started with all the basics and Shawn was really entertaining to listen to and gave visuals as he taught which for me was EXTREMELY useful. Then he came around and watched everyone shoot their first end. This is where I feel it's important to note that this was no average beginner lesson there were people who obviously were there for a good time and just wanted to learn but had no idea, there was someone who genuinely seemed like they were there to learn the sport, there was me who knew enough the basics and ideas but lacked techniques, and then straight up someone with Olympic equipment who shot the tightest spread of arrows imaginable. Shawn was able to help EVERYONE I was amazed tbh he went around to everyone of every level made them feel great about their abilities and at the same time help them out. There was no time where I felt like I was too advanced or too out of my depth because his way of teaching is very unique, it's a hybrid of 1 on 1 but also as a group.At the end of the lesson Shawn took time to talk to me 1 on 1 and he truly is a great guy and a great teacher and I'm excited to continue in the future!

Shawn is the best! Have been taking class with him for 6 months, he helped me got my first bow and is always supportive & helpful & funny & professional! Andy is also very nice and manage the schedule pretty well! Just dm them if you are interested in archery and you will not regret it!

Shawn's archery is a great business, and Shawn a fantastic instructor. I run a small therapeutic summer camp in the Haliburton area, and Shawn drove all the way from Toronto to give our staff team a 3 hour training, for a great price.The training itself was fantastic. Shawn's style, mixing education with fun practical skills, was a big hit with my staff, and they are still talking about it. I am now fully confident in my staff's abilities, and could not be happier with Shawn and his team.I highly recommend Shawn's Archery for whatever you need.

Shawn is extremely outgoing and friendly. The equipment we used was good quality and his instruction was so simple, both myself and my 9 year old son had no difficulty following the simple steps. We can't wait for our lesson next week. Thank you Shawn.

Went to a beginners lesson with Shawn and had a great time. He is very patient and provides very helpful feedback to get better and to have a good technique. After my first session I am looking forward to scheduling the next and continuing to practice this sport!
