I haven't been here in years. I don't know why I've not been but I'm so glad I came back. I knew it as a store with high quality and interesting stationery, back in the day. Well, it still is!My kid wanted some envelopes for letters they wanted to write to friends and I remembered Paper Umbrella. I'm so glad I did. They had excellent quality and attractive envelopes, just as we required.We also picked up some sealing wax, washi tape and some stickers.They carry unusual jigsaw puzzles, high quality writing utensils, books and much more. Don't be like me and wait so long before you check it out again. Go and get some cool and quality stationery on 13th on Cathedral.

If you would like a nice pen and paper, there's no better place. Definitely a niche but it fits so nicely in it.13th Ave and Cathedral is lucky to have this place. I love that I can walk into Paper Umbrella, wander about, and find - for any occasion - a unique card and perfect gift. Today, for my tenth anniversary, I found a wax seal in the shape of a heart. Not something I would ever have thought of, but perfect. I'll need to work on my technique though, made a bit of the mess the first time.

I always find unique gifts, stationary or art supplies there with changing inventory to keep me coming back and consistency of some of my favourite things. Staff is always so welcoming and helpful too.

Paper umbrella is a very reliable local stationary store, filled with cool goodies and cute trinkets.Very cute and unique cards, I think the owners put a lot of work into getting awesome post cards and cool stuff.Good place to buy gifts for loved ones and friends :Dsometimes the owners bring their cute dog to the store!I highly recommend!

Place full of original gifts, posters, postcards, pencil cases, LAMY pens, notebooks ...I mean if you fan of these things, you have to take a look in this cozy shop.Only reason I did not buy one pcs from everything was my limited luggage:)And of course owner and staff are really nice, helpful and know what you need:)
