New Century Chinese Food Restaurant
Been in Oshawa 25 years and by far the best Chinese Food restaurant I found since coming here! Food is always fresh, made when you order, which is great you can customize for example no onions due to allergies. Generous portions, great prices, great tasting and the absolute best egg rolls! Staff is super nice and friendly, especially the new girl they have taking orders. Fast, friendly, great food, I don't get the bad reviews, doesn't make sense to me because I've been coming here for a long time and never have I had a problem. I will give a warning though, the food is so good it's addicting. Huge fan. Pictured is a D6 I got, look how packed it is!

New Century Chinese Food Restaurant
We had dinner for 6-7 on Christmas Eve. It was delicious. People who never eat seconds ate seconds. They were extremely busy, but we placed our order at 2 pm for pickup at 4:30 pm. The food was fresh and very very good! Thank You New Century for making our Christmas Eve dinner so good.

New Century Chinese Food Restaurant
First and last time ordering here.We ordered 4 combos today from this place and one of them had a watch battery in it. We called to let them know what we had found in one of the combos and they offered to remake the meal it was found in. Unfortunately at this point none of us wanted to finish our meals and we definitely did not want a replacement meal.It's too bad because the food tasted great until we made the discovery.All four combos are now in the garbage and my husband is on the phone with poison control.

This is my favourite take out restaurant for Chinese food. It is always delicious. A big plus is they do not prompt fo a tip on their merchant machine.

I was disappointed by the taste and cooking of the egg rolls and the pork chops. The chicken wings were very little.

New Century Chinese Food Restaurant
I went in for the lunch special and the service was friendly. They give a good size portion for the price as well but the taste is where things went down hill. The chicken fried rice was bland (I had to add hot sauce to give it some flavour) and the chicken was hard on the outside and dried out on the inside even though it was doused in sauce. It could have been a bad day so I won't say 2-stars but know you need to bring your own hot sauce or ask for an extra soy sauce to give it some flavor.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is good. I usually like ordering from here and they seemingly give a good effort for being a small business. I’m not one to leave reviews but at times the customer service is astoundingly atrocious. In each instance I try ordering I’m suddenly reminded why I shouldn’t even bother…

New go to place for Fried Rice. I am originally from Scarborough so finding a good fried rice place was hard to find in Oshawa. I got the House special Fried Rice and really enjoyed it ( without vegi) will order again. Service was friendly, allowed me to substitute the chicken with beef.NOV 2022 UPDATE.Unfortunately, I've gone back twice and order the same meal and it was horrible each time. The rice was very hard, they WERE nice enough to replace it and it was the same. Really wanted to like this place.

Great food, good selection, fair prices. The friendliness of service could be notched up a bit, but all things considered, you won’t regret take-out from here.
