BC Aviation Museum

Not entirely sure…. But last 10 years or so ago, when I went there I thought it was by donation. But I guess they do charge for entrance now. Nothing really wrong with it. Was just a little shocked but the lady was wonderful enough to let my kid/s go in to play in the kids area (I believe I something new) together with my aunt and wife without charging them. I did pay for my dad, bro and my tickets to go in and experience the place!! Which is very lovely! I love how they arranged all the planes and have miniature on some where can’t be displayed live due to space constraint. They have a bunch of history all around! Very nice place to visit for sure! On top of it all, they kept the whole place neat! Keep it up guys! My whole family had fun there, hope to go back there soon!

This place is so awesome. I only found out about it recently and it is amazing. My son is 3 years old and loves it there. Very interactive stations for kids and lots of cool artifacts and things for adults too. Definitely recommend.

We came to the museum as a group of 4 and were all blown away at what an incredible experience this museum had to offer. Amazing museum with lots of history.Our tour guide, Stephan, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He had many great stories about the exhibits as well as his own experience flying which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Definitely wished we could have stayed longer, but had to catch a ferry.

We had a wonderful time at the museum. The staff were so knowledgeable and shared some great stories and background to the rich history behind the various models and artifacts. Awesome life size planes and you can board a good variety of them too.

We had a wonderful time at the museum. Highly recommend to visit. Our tour guide Stephen is so knowledgeable and shared some great stories and background to the rich history behind the various models and artifacts.

This museum is amazing, so many different planes from different eras on display, a great history of Canadian Flyers and their aircraft; a very knowledgable tour guide who gave detailed narrative; I was so impressed. I highly recommend a visit to the Aviation Museum if you are visiting Vancouver Island, you won't be disappointed.

The volunteers here are very hard working people and my hat goes off to them. My children and I had a wonderful experience here exploring the exhibits and learning about airplanes and aviation in general. A lot of rich aviation history here, real live airplanes and exhibits to look at, and lots of interactive exhibits for the children. I wish it was a little bit closer but it's worth the drive out there and we will be returning.
