Wine Tours Gone South

Sunny day, Osoyoos getting up early morning looking foward to the wine tour we booked, get a call 45 min before it was to start, cancelled , no solution , gave refund and said would give coupon for next time. There will be no next time with that company. Called Wine Tours Gone South, can you fit us in due to other issue. Natasha and her driver Paul fit us in very last minute. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

After booking a private tour in advance with our suggestions of wineries & a sit down lunch. We were very disappointed that Natasha had not booked us a lunch nor booked us our recommended choices. Their website states: “Wine Tours Gone South specializes in personalized wine tours of the South Okanagan. We take the time to discover your requirements and pair your tour with the wineries that suit your ideal wine tasting experience. Choose which award-winning wineries you’d like to visit, then schedule lunch or dinner at a winery restaurant.”Our ideal wine tasting includes high end boutique wineries. With a duel focus on whites & reds. We weren’t adverse to higher prices & wanted a unique experience.Our driver Luke picked us up at 10:30 but unfortunately most wineries do not open until 11:00am this had us driving around & him calling around to find us somewhere to start off our day before our first reservation that was at 11:30. Not a great way to start our tour. Likewise one of the wineries they took us to was directly on the property that we were staying on, within walking distance (something that we could’ve done on our own).The day was fine & Luke did his best to accommodate us but it was very disappointing when we had corresponded with Natasha for a few weeks & she hadn’t arranged anything. The bad start had left a bad taste in our mouths that was hard to shake off especially with the high price tag of the tour. Due to covid we wanted to make reservations ahead of time because we knew that things would be different this year.The mediocre service from Natasha & the fact that they did not accommodate our tastes & sent us to most wineries that we could but their wine back home was unfortunate.

Just took our second ever tour this year with my partner and I! It was amazing how accommodating our tour was with Natasha, even allowing us to bring our 6 month old puppy!Each winery we went to was like a little slice of paradise as the views were breathtaking! They all loved dogs which made our tour easier to enjoy.While the brewery’s do charge an extra fee for their tastings on top of the tour charge, I’d still say it’s worth it as I love supporting local businesses directly! Honestly these tours provide insight into the area so that you can have the best experience!

Martin is a king among men, an absolute asset to the tour. Super supportive of the group having the best time. Every stop he was ready with opening our door and you can tell he really loved what he does. We forgot something in the shuttle and they came back to return our things happily.I didn't even drink any of the wine and still thought it was worth it. They had a great selection of wineries. It was well-balanced and even to and from the wineries, they took us through scenic views and gave background context to each stop.

My 6-year old son and I had an amazing time on our half day private wine tour - our guide Randy was super knowledgeable, truly accommodating and so very friendly. We booked the tour for our family of 4 but unfortunately one of our kids didn't feel well last minute and my wife decided to stay back - Natasha was super accommodating with the last minute cancellation. Every winery Randy recommended was top notch and we got to try smaller boutique wineries which we would not have even known about if we did a self-drive. The lunch stop at Black Sage Bistro was outstanding and our server Dakota was top notch. Can't wait to do it again next summer but maybe this time it will be a full day. I had a wonderful time with my group on this wine tour Natasha organized for us over the past weekend. Though there are special arrangements made for COVID-19 by each winery (tbh every winery is handling differently and has different policy on social distancing), the overall experience was fantastic and I can tell the wine makers have great working relationship with Natasha and she was very helpful and professional throughout.I will definitely recommend this to anyone and will hire her again on my next trip!

This had to be the best way to see wineries. So incredibly fun, personalized to what we wanted, fantastic hostess, vehicle was comfortable and clean and I could go on and on. Reasonable price for a wonderful wine tour experience. Natasha was very accommodating. We loved it!

I would recommend Wine Tours Gone south to any wine fans heading to Okanagan! I was a little worried because I’m an asthmatic and the smoke was quite thick, but with an air conditioned mini bus taking us to air conditioned tasting rooms, I didn’t even notice!Natasha made our trip custom tailored to us, and adjusted the plan as our needs changed throughout the day. We had an unforgettable time, couldn’t ask for more!

This was my very first wine tour, considering I have been vacationingin Osoyoos for years now. Natasha was very knowledgeable with the area and wine, I learn't so much.There was a couple of other couples on the tour who stated over conversation that they were also very impressed.Natasha was very flexible allowing people to inform her if there was any wineries on our route that they would like to try.I would defiantly recommend Wine Tours Gone South" to others and make it more of a routine part of my holiday for the next time ;-)"

We had a wonderful day of wine touring with Natasha. She is knowledgeable about wine and the area. She customized the tour based on our preferences and took us to small, unique wineries all with a different specialty to offer. This was our third tour with wine tours gone south and I highly recommend them!
