Pender Chocolates

Delicious chocolate, friendly staff! Pender bark is definitely a must have!

Their Mocha is the best I’ve ever had. They put in a small ice cream scoop of some sort of chocolate wonderfulness that has put any other flavouring to shame :)Their chocolate goodies were fantastic as well.I am now sad that I’ve been bumped up a quality level and everything else isn’t going to be as good until I can return :(

Hand made Chocolate!! They make them right there! Amazing milkshakes too! It also says a lot when the owners are behind the counter, they care deeply about their customers experience

Wonderful chocolate shop. The owners are quite nice. They serve up delicious coffee and chocolates with local ingredients. Always experimenting with new flavours.

We love supporting small businesses, especially in the community we live in, BUT it has to be deserved. We had my nephew and his girlfriend visit us from Calgary and we recommended that they visit this little gem in picturesque Hope Bay.They ordered 2 milkshakes and chocolate-covered Oreos. The milkshake was so diluted, it tasted like flavored milk. The chocolate-covered Oreos were so hard, we were not sure if they were fresh or a few days’ old. My nephew and girlfriend were so deflated as we built up Pender Chocolates as “THE” place to visit. We hope this was a one-off and not a reflection of the future. We will continue to support Pender Chocolates.

We ordered chocolate truffle boxes as welcome gifts for our guests at our Poets Cove wedding. The chocolates were absolutely divine! Besides being delicious (one blackberry truffle and one baileys truffle), they were also adorable...heart-shaped and packaged in little cardboard boxes stamped with a logo and tied with a ribbon. They also provided separate dairy-free boxes for our guests with allergies. A must-try on Pender!

Absolutely outstanding. It was our best find in PI and we came back for seconds. I highly recommend making this one of this quintessential stops. Wish we had these caliber chocolates in the lower mainland.

We have purchased chocolates on several occasions. They are excellent, the flavours really come through and complement the chocolate. The vegan selections are also very good and made a great gift for a friend.

Great housemade chocolate coupled with soothing tea and coffee! This spot is a MUST if you’re visiting Pender Island!
