As a few other reviews stated, the girl at the front-desk is very rude and condescending. I would think that any tattoo place would expect customers to have questions as of what services they offer right? But apparently this place doesn’t. We came in and said hello, did not get any answer back. The front-desk person doesn’t even look at you, and when you ask questions, she makes you feel like you are bothering her, losing her time. And there was literally nobody else in the store. So unless you’re a regular that has been coming for years and gets « special treatment », don’t even bother, you’ll leave tattoo-less and annoyed.

Jimmy is a great tattoo artist and he knows what he’s doin. Definitely hit up the shop!

Decided to get a tattoo one day and picked Pearl Harbor Gift Shop as my spot to get it done. Im glad I picked Pearl Harbor because what I got in return was fantastic. My artist was Glennie, she was amazing and super cool. will definitely be coming back again for another!

Really good place, I highly recommend if you want a great old school/ traditional tattoo. Kind people with a lot of talent. The vibe and the decoration are very nice too

There's nowhere better in Toronto to get bold, American Traditional tattooing. They have a clear respect for tattoo history that is obvious right when you walk inside. I've been seeing Tim regularly for a little while now and he is world class. Looking forward to many more!

I've had small tattoos done over the years, all walk ins. I've never had any issues, never had to wait very long either. I've always had different artists, and everyone has been super friendly and welcoming. Will continue coming here and will continue recommending it when people ask where I get my tattoos xx

Awesome place for traditional tattoos. Feels like and old-school shop with flashes all over the walls, and a bunch of cool stuff all over the place. I got a flash done by Nathan, and im head over heels with it. He did an incredible job with my tattoo, and was awesome to get tattooed by. I will be coming back to fill up my arms. Can't recommend this place enough

Now, I was tattooed over 10 years ago at this place and I have over 40 tattoos from different artists across Canada and overseas. I felt obligated to write this review as the same reason I did not go back for additional work from this shop still exists today, and the other ppl I was with noticed the same issue. After 10 years of stepping foot in pearl harbour, I was with some friends who thought it would be a cool idea to commemorate our reunion in Kensington market. We simply went in, chose some flash from the wall, and they scheduled an appointment same day, no newbie questions, no attitude from our part. The problem lies within this shops mindset…. The same bad attitude I noticed when I first got tattooed here was the same attitude others noticed. The front desk person was somewhat arrogant and not very informative. If we asked 1 of the few questions we had they would reply with 1-2 words typically a “no” without any reasoning why (we did wait for her to finish with others before we began speaking, so the shop was empty at that point) The artists may have been great, but because of how the front desk person communicated it gave me flash backs of how I felt in this shop the first time I gave it a shot. Without much debate from myself and my partner we all decided collectively this was not a shop for us. Thankfully we found a shop on queen st that was very welcoming and did an amazing job on our tattoos. Half of a tattoo is the experience that accompanies it.. and this shop feels like the kids who believe they deserve a spot at the cool table.. if that’s the cool table point me to the chess club.
