I hadn't had my nails done in years until I received a gift certificate for L.A. nails for Christmas so I decided to treat myself and my daughter a couple of months ago. I've now gone back for a third time to have my nails filled. I have had the same girl everytime and she does an amazing job. I am always very happy with her work. The owner and the other staff are always very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend them.

I am so disappointed with my experience today...well half my experience.My husband bought me a gift certificate for $50, which was an ordeal in itself as they charged him tax on it despite their sign stating tax was included.I went for a pedicure and nail set and asked to oay the difference which they assured me was fine.My pedicure was good, I was ok with the treatment and colour and the gal was friendly.When it was time for my nails, it was a different gal. I showed her a picture of what I was thinking, asked about her opinion on Matte finish instead of shinny away we went.I had to stop her twice to remind her of the correct colour for my ring finger, she painted over it and could still see the wrong colour at the base of my nail. She rushed through telling more customers to come in and she would be with them in 2 minutes, no matter where we were at. When she was finished, there was dabs of the polish in my skin that she didn't get off and under my nails was a hot mess of white, jagged edge and the cream. I asked her to smooth them so she quickly did (not completely).When I went to pay the difference it was a strange amount and alot more expensive then I anticipated. With my gift certificate included it was well over $100.I left the salon and about 5 minutes later.i went back and asked her to have another look as my nails looked awful...there were lines throughout, an oily finish after the hand cream, and I realized more and more nicks of polish around my nails, skin and finger.The lady insisted that matte finish isn't nice and I needed glossy and she couldn't change the colour because it would show more on my skin. I really couldn't understand what she was trying to tell me, she just repeated that she doesn't like Matte finish and would make it glossy.I asked her about using a q tips or something to deal with all the spots she had left, but she didn't, just rushed me through again and I left.The paint job is awful, the cost was high, the experience was brutal.I am not one to treat myself and was really looking forward to relaxing and doing something for myself for my birthday.I have included a few photos as well.

Had a wonderful experience with my husband and daughter getting ready for our vacation away. Tu was so helpful and knew just the right colors that looked the best. His foot massage was the best I have had in a while. We will be returning

Lora and Kevin are absolutely phenomenal! Kevin always does an amazing job with nail prep and pedicures. While Lora can execute the perfect nails every time. She is such an incredible artist and has done some of the most beautiful nail art I have ever seen. She also takes the time to make sure each stroke is perfect and I have never had such perfect french manicures. Also, the shellac lasts so much longer than normal and I believe it is because of the care and attention they have. I am so sad to be leaving Kingston in a month because I won't be able to find a nail tech that will be nearly as amazing as Lora. Not to mention, the customer service is also incredible and I enjoy catching up with Lora and Kevin. I would rate 10 stars if I could!

Very Bad experience. No customer service. I went with my friend to enjoy a day with her. The lady who did my friends was so in rush did her nails so fast. And she wanted an extra coat to make it dark and the lady said she will charge more. She even cut her thumb cuticle and it was bleeding. Didn’t apologize. Treating like she is so in rush but using her phone later. We didn’t enjoy going there at all. After we complained that my friends doesn’t like hers. The girl who was doing mine was so rude and not happy that we are not satisfied. I never want to go there. They are rude and not worth it.

my sister and i went in asking for gel nails, acrylics tend to break my nails so i opted for gel and my sister just wanted a fill on her pre-existing nails. they applied acrylics anyways (i wasn’t really paying attention to what they were using). they told my sister she couldn’t look at colours and proceeded to ombré and french tip her nails, she filed them round and short unlike my sister asked. she had simply wanted a glossy white and a fill. her nail tech was on the phone the entire time. after my sister asked again to look at the colours, the tech stormed off and made someone else finish them.i paid regular price for a full set but they charged my sister more than me for her fill. i got these nails on wednesday june 28th. it’s sunday july 2 and one of my nails have already broken off.they have some really great staff but this experience left us both upset

OMG. Best service I have ever received!! Staff was so sweet. It was an absolute delight to have my nails done here! Super sanitary, welcoming and kind- overall such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back! & to the sweet couple who did my friend and I’s nails, I LOVE YALL!

Just walked in ! Got an acrylic full set of yellow with beautiful flowers. Customer service was so friendly and kind. They do amazing work! I can’t wait to come back

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would.I came here yesterday for an acrylic nail refill + shellac colour. The nail tech who did my nails was rough. I told her I didn't want a nail design but she insisted. Also, she said the total would be $55 for the service... but I ended up paying $74. I will not be coming here again and I don't recommend this place.
