U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Alexandria Bay Port of Entry

I never play the race card but if you are not Caucasian do not go through this border. The female officer was very rude. From her mannerism to the way she spoke, which was blatantly confrontational. She asked contradicting questions. Everyone inside was grumpy too and will treat you as a prisoner.They will find anything to give you a hard time even if you have a perfect record. Maybe they were having a bad day but that is no excuse to treat others unfairly. They are not fit to represent such a great nation.

First rate experience for Nexus interview. Very helpful officers and an attractive building. Check the cloth ceiling decor in the main hall.

Have been going across the boarder all my life at this crossing and I want to say officer Rice Has been pleasure to deal with. I've come across and have met with her at the boarder gate more then once and everytime she has been so nice. Thank you!

I had recently travelled through the border here and I feel compelled to give feedback on how the officer I was in contact with was amazing! Officer Galikowski really went the extra mile to answer all of my questions in great detail and with complete professionalism. I must emphasize her knowledge and kindness!

As a trucker I cross the border a few times every week and this is my favorite place to cross into the US! I'm usually through in less than 10 minutes unless I go through the x-ray or agriculture but even then it's quick and painless. Everyone I've interacted with here has been friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you

You come to this place: beautiful place with the views of the 1000 Islands…. but you are met with a rather “friendly” agent. We were heading back into the US after spending a little over a week driving and stopping at major places in Canada.At first he asked some nice questions, but followed them up with a few questions about marijuana and smoking. All these questions, we answered truthfully. Anyway, we were asked to pull over so they can search the car and baggage.Once we get inside, the wait wasn’t long. Again, the agents inside who were questioning us probed more with questions leaning towards bringing marijuana into the US or paraphernalia we may be bringing back with us. After a little more waiting, their last ditch attempt was wanting us to empty our pockets and search my purse.While the agents were nice to us, it did seem rather weird they kept trying to poke at us to “come clean” to bringing in something we can BUY IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK (although we didn’t).I wouldn’t say the agents are profiling seeing as my partner is white and I’m ambiguous (mixed Filipino and white), but it really made us question why they would want to pull over two people with clean records that they suspected looked like two young hooligans who went to Canada for suspicious, weedy reasons.Gotta love our hard-earned tax dollars being used to harass families to hunt down Mary Jane.

Professional and kind but thorough with the process. No questions asked about vaccination but since an new i94 has to be stamped we had to wait in a room for fingerprints and other formalities. Luckily the traffic was not that bad so didn’t have much wait.

I drive truck trailer and I cross this border on regular basis and never have any problem. But, today when i was going USA on August 31 at 10:30am, i was asked to go through xray. At xray station extreme rudest black guy and name is KWAYISI who behaved like i am criminal and he snatched load paerwork and my passport from my hand. He has absolutely ruined my day. I want to complain about him if there is any complain procedure. My load was cleared and he told me i am good to go.
