Room was tops, food was over the top, owners were friendly and available, location over looking the beach was magnificent! The best place, by far, that we stayed in on our 11 day trip to Nova Scotia!

This was an excellent place to stay along the Cabot Trail. The rooms were inviting, comfortable, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. The balcony was beautiful, and had a stunning view. We had the pleasure of eating dinner here, and the four of us had various meals - each of us loved the food, it was amazing!. The breakfast in the morning was served at the time requested, and was also some of the best breakfast we have ever had. Staying upstairs still felt very private, and we had access to the beach. Checkout was smooth, and William and his wife were a pleasure to deal with. Overall, it was a lovely experience and would recommend anyone to stay here, and we would definitely stay here again in the future!

We were supposed to be staying at Williams Beach house this week for our 10th wedding anniversary. A trip to Cape Breton that we’ve been planning and looking forward to for a year. Given the devastating destruction from hurricane Fiona we’ve had to cancel. We’re still without power ourselves and vacationing in Cape Breton right now just feels wrong especially with officials recommending avoiding non-essential travel to Cape Breton to make clean up efforts easier. We were met with no compassion or understanding from the owners who continued to charge us for the cancellation. We would 100% have made a trip here in the future but after this I’m not so sure. Our other accommodations have provided 100% refunds and been amazing in working with us to reschedule at a future time.

An unique and pleasant BB plus fine dining experience. A relative new room with a great ocean view. A spacious contemporary washroom. A cozy deck with table and chairs. John, the host, nice and considerate, a professional chef, good at what he does. The halibut florentine was exceptional good. what a enjoyable and memorable day, hiked the Skyline trail, one of the best places along the Cabot trail, wonderful halibut diner, slept with the soothing ocean waves. The breakfast was outstanding as well, a tender version of the omelet, liked it so much.

Best BnB in Cape Breton. The owner is a professional chef, providing great breakfast choices and optional dinner that is not to be missed. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated with.breath taking ocean view. Rated as the highest ranked hotel on Google maps for a reason. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing place to stay. The view and sounds of the ocean from our balcony were so relaxing. The room was super clean with a beautiful view of the sunrise. The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Would definitely go back again for the relaxing atmosphere and the outstanding food.

Such a lovely spot! The food was fantastic, the service friendly, and eating dinner to the soundtrack of the crashing waves on the beach can't be beat! We just went for dinner, but I think it would be delightful to stay there as well - maybe next time! John and his family are wonderful hosts!

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay. We had an incredible time on the beautiful beach which is only a few steps away. The food was indescribably delicious. The best meal we have had in a long time! The rooms are clean and beautiful with a great view of the water. And the included breakfast is something you would expect to pay for. We will be returning as soon as we can!

The food here was incredible. Good sized portions too. We didn't leave hungry which often happens in better restaurants. The service itself was so so which is typical of tourist areas I find. It would be nice if the servers checked on you a couple of times during the meal. Top up water, refill bread basket, that kind of thing. Besides the so so service we were very happy and enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely go back. Just a note to say they are difficult to get hold of on the phone. You will have to try many times to get an answer.
