One of the employee called my wife to say that she can not enroll my daughter in because we only need daycare 3 days a week, and they only take full time, and we accepted that.What made us so pissed is that she assumed that we are new in Canada, and since we are new here(in her opinion) and we are from China, she believes that most Chinese kids' grandparents may come to visit and take care of them anytime, so the parents would go to them and cancel the daycare anytime. What's more interesting is that she is also Chinese. This is the first time that i'm feeling racist by my own race in Canada. Furthermore, she said that considering the big size" of her full-time daycare institution

Ocean Rain fosters loving relationships with all of their children. As a family with two full time working parents, it's challenging to have your young child spend the day with someone else. Our son plays music, reads books, does art, makes friends, learns languages etc. He is happy to go, and often times doesn't want to leave when we arrive to pick him up.The teachers show us that they love him too. They are concerned about his growth and his well being. As a mom, this is the most important thing. We love that they communicate how his day was, what his challenges were, and send us photos and videos.PS - The speculating comments below by people who don't have children attending the daycare are completely unwarranted and should be ignored and to be frank, removed.

I personally really this daycare. Our son started when he was 14 months old. He is going to kindergarten this year. He had wonderful time there, and all the teachers are very patients and experienced. Our daughter will attend Ocean Rain this year. The most important things made me still choose Ocean Rain are: 1) they took kids out to experience the real veggies, fruits, and food at grocery store. 2) they took the kids to have some story time at the library. 3) they took the kids to the playground near the neighbourhood. 4) the teachers are very detail oriented, when I picked up my son, they always tell us some good or funny stories what happened to our son during the day or what kind of food our son like or doesn’t like, etc. 5) the teacher always have some detailed notes write down for the parents regarding the day. 6) the centre are super clean, and the kids toilets are very cute, which are very good for kids to potty training. Hopefully can help all the moms.

On two occasions I've seen them walking at least eight young children. They're all tethered together with staff in front and behind but I've wondered where they're going. Once they were on Mckenzie between Shelbourne and Cedar Hill and the other time on Palo Alto. From a comment above perhaps they're returning from the park. Is this the arts or education the parents imagine?

Fantastic daycare. Our toddler has been there several months now and our older child has done a camp at Ocean Rain. They are so lovely and accommodating. Both our kids have so much fun there. The facility is beautiful and clean, the programs for each age group are really well thought out and all of the teachers are outstanding. We're so grateful for what Ocean Rain does for our family!

I saw the daycare kids out in the park the other day while I was walking my child. They let the older kids play while the babies do not leave the stroller and just sit there for so, so long. There were three caretakers and three babies. Would it kill the caretakers to take the babies out and maybe put them on a swing or support them down the small slide? Hell, let them crawl around on the blanket if you don't feel like picking them up. The caregivers were all on their phones. So, so sad.

We love Ocean Rain! Our son is so happy here and the teachers are so kind, generous and organized. They have made us so comfortable sending him to daycare.

Ocean Rain is a great day care. All the facilities are brand new, and the teachers are so nice!! The atmosphere here is awesome. They run different art classes like drawing and dancing and they have very professional dancing instructors. It's never a bad idea to send kids to OceanRain Arts and Academy.
