Mac Animal Clinic

Our Rotty was always afraid of the vet but since we started going to Mac it is an easy process and everyone is so nice and helpful. As a dog owner, I don't feel worried about the visits anymore and that is all thanks to the staff at Mac Animal Clinic.

As a long-time cat owner I was aware of the seriousness of a blocked bladder in male cats. When my cat, Ash, began showing symptoms, Dr Mac and her amazing team went straight to work. She met me at the clinic first thing in the morning, and quickly planned his course of care. They are knowledgeable and compassionate care givers! And the follow-up care was amazing. Ash is happy and healthy today, and I'm confident that he will continue to thrive with their help!

Like most pet owners, my rescue boy, Archie, means the world to me, so ensuring he has the best of care and attention, whether it be his annual checkups, or if a health concern arises, I know I can count on the team at Mac Animal Clinic. Every one goes out of their way to provide the best care for their patients, and nothing is too much trouble. Dr. Mac has always been available to discuss Archie's test results, food choices, etc. whenever I've needed her. The environment is calming for your pet, and they live up to their motto Your pets are our pets". Each team member are pet owners

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always following up and helpful. My dog can be difficult to deal with, but Dr. Mac and the staff are very patient with him and always seem to put him at ease. Dr. Mac is very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I tried many other vets in the past but would highly recommend the MAC Animal Clinic.

I've been apart of the clinic for 4y now. Their clinic is always kept very clean and is very open. My Pup is fed the best of treats well there and cared for thoroughly by the staff there. Dr. Mac is very thorough as well and has no issue talking in length about any worries I had around the new adventure. Mrs. Sarah as well is always manning the lines and keeps exceptional track of what is needed for my pup in the upcoming month. While I don't have much experience with Dr. Broom and Miss Williams I expect they are just as awesome. For sure you aren't going wrong if you are thinking about working with this clinic.

When our puppy Lily walks into Dr. Mac’s clinic her tail immediately wags with joy. Dr. Mac has so much love for animals, making you feel right at home!We have been with Dr. Mac since we first got our fur baby Lily and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She can answer all our questions with confidence and pride on the knowledge she shares. Lily plays and gets along with all Dr. Macs dogs. Very personal and caring staff. First time customer with 11 wk puppy and they did a great job. Jennifer is very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced and Dr. Mac was as in love with puppy just as we are. Gentle compassionate care but effective. Reasonably priced as I researched in advance. Tour of facility was very impressive. Really like the not too big size of well equipped clinic and their genuine personal attention and care.

We cannot say enough good things about the team at MAC. These people genuinely care and have made exceptional efforts to put our super anxious boy at ease and work with us on our concerns. From having a dog that would shake and hide under my chair at our original vet’s office to one that confidently walks in and greets the team, even taking treats from their hands with no pressure has given us such peace of mind. We still have far to go but knowing Dexter is comfortable there and loves Jennifer, Natalie and Dr. Mac makes a world of difference. This team absolutely lives fear-free, ensuring no other dog visitors are present during our appointments and inviting us in for happy dog visits to familiarize our guy to their office. We couldn’t recommend this team more - they are amazing!

I can’t rave enough about our experience with Dr. Mac and her team! I have a rescue dog who has pretty severe stranger reactivity/fear, making vet visits very challenging. Dr. Mac and the team have gone above and beyond to make our visits calm, relaxed and positive. They always take their time and never push Pearl too far and always have the goal of making her feel as safe and comfortable as possible at the forefront of their minds. This includes things like calming medication, strategically scheduling our appointments, and allowing me to do as much handling as possible during exams to keep Pearl calm. My work schedule can be hectic, making me a bit hard to get a hold of, and they always ensure I’ve received all the communication and information I need for our appointments either via phone or email. I have recommended Dr. Mac to all of my friends and will continue to recommend her for years to come! We travel from Hamilton to Oakville to see Dr. Mac and her team, as it’s incredibly challenging to find someone with the same quality of care and compassion for their furry clients and their humans.

The owner AND their staff are all extremely knowledgeable, professional, and keep up to date with their education. There is nobody I would trust more with caring for your furry friend. I always reccomend Mac Clinic as they are certified fear free.
