We hired Stephen and Viktoria from Modern Wall Design after having a horrible experience with our initial installer. As you can see from the first few photos, the original installer was sloppy, ripping our paper and gouging our walls. Not to mention he left glue all over the freshly installed wallpaper. His cuts were jagged and uneven, and the seams were very visible. To add insult to injury, he left our house with glue on our floors and walls and didn’t bother cleaning up. Stephen came in and removed the existing wallpaper, repaired our walls and re-installed the wallpaper in our powder room. Our experiences could not have been more different. Stephen was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. His installation was done efficiently and with considerable focus and attention to detail. As you can see from the photos of his work, his cuts are precise. The layout of the paper was thought out and carefully balanced so that the pattern was consistent and not cut off awkwardly. The seams are invisible, and the cuts are neat. Stephen is a true artist. Nothing was overlooked. He even wallpapered our outlets which we were not expecting. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already beautiful masterpiece. We highly recommend Stephen and Viktoria for any type of wallpaper install. You will not regret hiring them. We are so happy that we found them, and we only wish we would have hired them from the start.

Modern wall was exceptionally professional and are truly artisans of their craft. There is a reason why they are so sought after in the Calgary area. We had to wait over 6 months for Modern Wall to install our papers however it was worth the wait and I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a pain free wallpaper install experience. If you are considering hiring professional wallpaper installers in the calgary area these are your people. Stephen has over 200 colours to match your papers where he is able to hand paint the seems and makes the paper install appear seamless. His artistic eye saved us quite a fair bit of paper as where we wanted to initially install a Ellie Cashman mural we would have lost over half. I am thrilled that we listened to him as it looks great and I would have not come up with the idea to have the paper hung where he had suggested. Victoria was also great to speak to and get to know better. I also appreciated how respectful they were in our home and how clean they work! No need to look any further as Modern Wall is the most recommended paper hangers amongst interior decorators here in Calgary!
