My experience with this doctor has not been a positive one.I have an insulin pump which is now being replaced by Medtronic though ADP. Medtronic requires that the application be signed by my endocrinologist who is this doctor, or so I thought. I assumed there would be no problem as I have been with this doctor for many years.Imagine my surprise when this doctor advised Medtronic that she had dropped me more than a year ago because I refused an appointment. I am under the impression that the proper protocol is that I receive a letter and I then be referred to CACC or another endocrinologist by the province. She has my full contact information, but I received no communication in this regard whatsoever. I will be looking into this as it is very unprofessional and may be in contravention of the rules.I’m also curious how she was able to sign the ADP renewal letter for funding which was less than a year ago when she was no longer my doctor. I’m thinking this isn’t legal, unless it was for the money she collected because it was not covered by OHIP.I really did not appreciate her getting angry with me because after more than fifty years my blood sugar control is less than optimal. This disease is already a huge challenge without a doctor getting short and angry with me.So if you want a doctor to get angry at you this one is for you.BTW, I have already been referred to a doctor that no doubt will be more than understanding.

Dr. Diane Zatelny is a wonderful person and such a knowledgeable doctor. Can't recommend enough! She took such a great care of me when I was her patient.

I have only had 2 dealings with the doctor and feel she is amazing! Very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. She makes you comfortable and listens to you. I am thankful to have her as my specialist

I moved away, out of province, a little over 18 months ago but miss Dr. Zatelny ! She is the best. She is wonderful, kind- hearted, professional, caring and an excellent endocronologist! Very highly recommended! Patients of Dr. Zatelny aren't just numbers, we are all highly respected human beings. Thank you, Dr. Zatelny for all those years that you were there to guide me through any medical issues or questions I had!Barbara Boothe
