Absolutely brilliant night of Friday night comedy in central Brighton. The MC and the whole line-up were incredibly funny. The room was small and intimate. Accoustics were excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. One of the best nights out my family and I have had for years.

We went to the forge last night for the first time, the venue is fantastic with a lively buzz in the bar area before the performances. The comedian's were all top notch and Stephen grant was his usual hilarious self. I'd definitely recommend it, a great night out and reasonably priced.

Great little venue. Good selection of drinks at the bar and the food provided by Kitgum was fantastic.Thank god there are two intervals else your arse would be numb on those seats. #bringacushion

I’ve seen Stephan Grant perform many times in and around Brighton so was excited to visit his new club and see what was on offer.Overall it was a fun night and I really enjoyed Stephan and the other Comedians were quite good too.The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that I feel the drinks prices were too high. £12 for a Gin & Tonic and £6 for a can of Red Stripe…that’s a can not even a pint on draft. I’d prefer a slightly higher ticket price and a reduction on the cost of drinks as it feels like you’re being lured in with tickets that are cheaper than the Komedia but then they hit you at the Bar to make up the difference.I understand it’s a struggle for all businesses with rising costs but it left a sting when you heard the price of a round.

Absolutely stunning venue with very high standards comedy wise. The host Stephen Grant is simply great and witty. They have a very good selection of spirits and cocktails. Decent beer selection. I haven't tried any food but the ones who did were very satisfied.I'll come back again!

Fantastic night last night. Amazing, friendly staff who went above and beyond looking after our party of 8.Great venue, you have a good view wherever you sit and there is a fab atmosphere. The comedians were excellent, all brilliant in their own way. Can't recommend it enough and we will be back.

We had an incredible night at The Forge. One of the best comedy shows I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! Stephen Grant is an excellent compère and brought great energy to the room. We will be coming back!

The comedians where good. We were seated on the bench seating, if going I would recommend to sit on the chairs! There was a space next to us and just before the show started a group turned up late and where crammed into the gap next to us by one of the staff. I also think it would be better without a break after each comedian, but I assume this is to make money at the bar.

A real MUST for anybody who enjoys an intimate setting for top quality Stand Up comedy. I had an awesome experience and can't recommend the club and the staff highly enough. Book early though... often sells out quick as it's getting more and more popular. It's Brighton's best kept secret.
