Mission Memorial Hospital: Emergency Department

Extremely disappointed with the Triage lady in Emergency. She was unprofessional, extremely rude to patients coming in. She argued with my daughter, who was sent by Dr. Edelson, she is 33 weeks pregnant and has chest infection, and has been throwing up blood and mucous. Then a man came in with his dying father , and asked for help getting him out of car. She said call 911. She had zero empathy and zero bedside manners. Please get rid of her . She gives the hospital a bad reputation .The nurses in emerg and doctor were great tho. The experience coming in was a nightmare

Good hospital but private ownership by Dr. FARID RAHEEMI & company makes it the worst.When dr Harami is on duty please do not expect any thing Good will happento you.He is in control of all the nursing staff, so next time when you go to the emergency, please make sure that Dr. Raheemi is not there,

I came in on an ambulance. Was seen almost immediately and the medications I know I need after dealing with this chronic illness for so long were administered quickly. My nurse Devon was WONDERFUL and very kind. This is my new favourite hospital. ❤️

Might as well lie about pain level or they will bump you till your blue in the face. One word to sum things up PATHETIC

So much waiting. I’ve been waiting for 8 hours just to see a doctor. I have gallstones in my gallbladder and they make my stomach hurt so much. I was dying here waiting. They don’t give any medicine either.

My husband fell on the ice. He heard a loud crack. It was very painful. The emergency room doctor in Missionsent him home to take advil without an xray. One side of his clavicle was slightly protruding.The next day he went to the tele GP who sent him for an xray. Then a consult with GP to tell him the next day his shoulder is fractured.He's being referred to an orthopedic surgeon who will review his xray and decide on next steps...Not a very efficient or cost effective system. So far instead of 1 correct consult in emergency, he's seen 3 docs and been referred to a 4th.There wss nobody at the emergencyDesk for 15 minutes. Then the emergency nurse signing people in was rude to him and nice to the women who were waiting. . She checked their blood pressure etc. but ignored him. He actually has high blood pressure and he was in shock so it should have been checked.I'm just posting as I hope the hospital reads these reviews. I ope it's helpful feedback to improve thingsThe emergency doc seemed very young and over tired.

Poor organization and lack of priority planning left bleeding for 3 hours waiting for stitches on a severe gash over fore arm close to wrist. I'd rather take a shot at sewing myself up then go back

Can't say enough about the great treatment I received at the Mission Hospital ER on Saturday afternoon/evening, in and out in 3 hours! Went in with a gouged knee, in and out with an updated tetanus shot and 8 staples to my knee and supplies to tend to my wound. Great service by the triage and admitting nurse (who also gave me my tet shot) and Dr Welsh. Would I go back again? Only if I had to, but rather here then anywhere else in the valley.
