Fabulous food. I ordered Chicken Biriyani and it had that authentic south Indian Dum flavor. The spice level was perfect. I also tried the Egg Puff which was also very tasty. The people at this place are very polite and courteous. Overall, 5-star service. Will definitely try again. Please keep up the quality and customer service.

I visited this amazing Indian restaurant at Peel Metro and ordered a Masala Dosa. The dosa was crisp to perfection and masala had mouth watering flavors. They serve the dosa with a cup of sambar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney. The flavors and taste of tomato chutney was out of the world and couldnt get over it. I badly need the recipe of it :p . More importantly my order was prepared in less than 3 minutes. If you are nearby, grab a quick bite at this restaurant. Truly amazing.

Bistro Thanjai (Soon to be Cuisine Arya)
I was so excited to find dosas downtown, and these ones were fabulous: so crisp at the edges they shattered in your mouth, with a beautifully spiced, savoury filling.The small bowl of lentil soup that came with it was one of the best I've ever had.Definitely a wonderful addition to the usually bleak wasteland of chains downtown. Really warm, friendly service. Can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

Tried Veg Kothu Paratha and Chicken 65 Biryani. Loved Kothu Paratha. It had good taste and quantity. But felt that the Biryani could be improved in flavour. It was not that satisfactory. Would try other dishes here.

I ordered 40 dollars food from here. This is the worst food experience. Dosa was super oily, and Pav Bhaji was literally so bad. The buns were smelly and stale, and bhaji was dry and looked like it was reheated after days. I literally threw it in the common garbage (not even my house dustbin because it was so smelly). If you cannot make tasty food, at least give it fresh. Dude, just watch any youtube videos and use that to make food.

I always pass through the mall without stopping by this restaurant but I will more often now! I was surprised that they have dosa, looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Excellent tasty fresh food and good quantity.Fast and warm service.Highly recommend it.We ordered :1.veg biriyani2.chicken biriyani3.Paneer 654.Paneet butter masala5.Mysore masala dosaAll items were perfectly made.Masala chai was awesome too.If you have to choose between Thanjai and bistro,go for bistro..

The South Indian authentic restaurant is really good. Their naan and paneer butter masala set is really good. I would highly recommend this. They use authentic spices and fresh produce, making the food really authentic and tasty. They accept cash and card. Definitely try their naan set.

I've walked by this place a hundred times, but today there wasn't anyone lining up and I felt like Indian food so the timing was perfect.Limited lunch menu, so I played it safe and ordered the butter chicken and naan combo. Comes with a samosa and a pop. My order was ready in about 5 minutes, not bad.Decent portion size, 4-5 pieces of white meat chicken and plenty of sauce. The samosa was fine, it could have used a side sauce but it was nice and crunchy.I liked the butter chicken, the sauce was tasty, you could taste the spices, felt like it was made from scratch. Naan bread was ok, I've had better but it did the job.For about 15$ with tax and tip, I think it's a good deal, and I'll add this place to my approved work lunch list!
