Animal lovers go in the forest and scare animals to the neighbouring fields by shooting shotgun rounds and litter the forest by leaving their empty shells on the ground and when you get to your car, it is vandalized. The people that did This should know that this is a crime and you have been reported so it's only matter of time getting caught on camera. Also know that all the neighbouring farms have hunters in them and by pushing the animals to the neighbouring farms, you are just sending them to other hunters to be harvested.

Hunting trail with walking path. This unmaintained trail is great in the summer for walking but icy and snowy in winter. There is a gate to prevent motorised vehicles down the trail. No garbage cans

An amazing place close to Hamilton, in the middle of the Niagara Region. Its not a long loop, but it does have some wonderful trails for walking by yourself, with someone or with a dog. Whether on a bicycle or snow shoeing (once the weather gets there), the trail is easy enough for a novice but long and windy enough not to be boring.Due to most of the trees being deciduous, it is quite windy in the late fall and winter time (due to lack of protection). So dress appropriately.

Beautiful trails and great place to hunt or hike. Very open compared to most conservation areas. Hikers be respectful to hunters and hunters be respectful to hikers. Hikers don't forget hunting fee's give you the ability to go here so be appreciative.

Ruigrok Tract NPCA
This is one of my favourite places to hike as it's never busy, the trails are nice and mostly maintained, however over the past year a few trees have fallen across the paths which are easy to step over, but would prevent anyone in a wheelchair from enjoying the path. Some of the bridges need maintenance as well, so please be careful!
