Centre Avenue Badminton
Signed up my son for group lessons a couple of weeks ago. I am really impressed with their program. The group lessons have a really good instructor to student ratio - it definitely was not one instructor trying to baby sit a large group like at another place. Last Friday was his first private lesson and the coach help correct a lot of his mistakes. What a big improvement! We also signed up for the youth game night on Saturday night and he had a blast even though he didn't win the prize. Yesterday, my son told me that he made the school team!

Absolutely love it! I just discovered this gem a week ago and I have been going daily ever since. Place is clean, owner is really nice and accommodating, crowd is good. You always find a court as long as you verify with front desk. I will always back come here!

A nice badminton center. The washrooms are really nice and the courts are great. However, some of the court floors are squishy in areas and the lights not ideal (I've missed birdies because the light blinded me). Using light diffusers would help. The place also sells rackets, shoes, and other accessories at reasonable prices. Their website sucks but is usable.

The level of players can be better otherwise i would give them 5 stars. Everyone was very nice though. Courts are perfect, grippy, it's not spongy and not too hard. I requested that the lights be turned brighter and staff was very friendly, helpful even helped me steam my shuttles. Place is kept very clean. My first time and forgot to take off my shoes and staff asked me to change right away and mopped floor (my bad). Stringing service is handy if you snap your strings. I played on Friday night good vibe bumpin.

The best facilities in town! Staffs are welcoming and accommodating. I took a couple of lessons from coach Timothy Lee. Tim is highly knowledgeable and patient, he breaks tips and techniques down into attainable goals to achieve. Highly recommended for adults/kids training!

The best badminton facility. It was -25C, and there's no drift from the heaters. Easy to see the shuttle, great lighting. Best of all, it is a lot cleaner than other facilities.

Great place to go play Badminton in Calgary. Plenty of courts, super clean and the staff are friendly. We went early on a weekday so it wasn't full. We also booked a court for the 4 of us which was super easy and not expensive. They also have memberships which I think help you get a slightly cheaper rate.
