Great ambiance and delicious food. The menu is completely different than anything else in Spruce and priced competitively with other restaurants. Highly recommend the watermelon salad and the beef wellington. Looking forward to having a martini ladies night during one of the live event nights!Update: Also recommend the alligator - shown in pic

First visitAtmosphere is very nice and comfortable. Had an early reservation. Empty restaurant and definitely had the worst table on the place behind the kitchen door. Cocktails menu was nice and crafted well. Food quality was as expected. Nothing wrong or exceptional. Food menu is very limited. (Very limited)Definitely not on my list of places I want to revisit.

I have been twice now. Ambience is comfortable, welcoming, but a little bit higher end. I went once with the girls for drinks and dessert and once for a nice dinner with my partner.Dinner - I had the salmon with gnocchi. It was THE BEST meal I've had in awhile. Salmon was moist and buttery with a tiny bit of crisp on the outside. The gnocchi was soft but charred a bit on the outside and the rose sauce was amazing. I had leftovers today and want to drive into town just to get it again tomorrow. Partner's steak was perfectly cooked.All the drinks I've had were good, server even introduced me to a white wine I'll drink! Malbec she suggested was good. Fun drinks with the girls were good too! Desserts are okay, my favourite is the strawberry champagne cheesecake.I just wish they had a vegetarian option. Hint - make the gnocchi with the same sauce vegetarian with a side of the seasonal veggies or a wedge of bread - I'll be able to come more often!!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary, hoping to have a nice dinner to celebrate. Unfortunately, we only ended up ordering an appetizer and drinks. We inquired about moving to the patio and our waitress said in 10 minutes there would be a table available, but we could start off in the dining room. After our waitress took our order to start, she never once asked us if we wanted to order an entree or try to seat us outside even though there were multiple tables cleared off on the patio. We were there for an hour before we decided to get the bill. As a person who grew up in Spruce Grove, I wanted to support local but left disappointed. The live music was nice, the guy can really sing. The appy and drinks were good but it’s the service that won’t bring me back.

My second time here and this is becoming one of my favorite spots. I'm from St Albert and would easily drive to eat here more. Dishes are amazing and service is always great!Perfectly balanced menu with a good selection, while not having too many items too choose from.

Myself and the girls went for lunch while it was mostly empty the service from both our server and the manager on duty were amazing. The decor so beautiful!! The drinks while the combinations don't sound like they work they 100% do!! Definitely need to try more. The only reason for the 4 stars was they were out of the steak tartar which we were all looking forward too. Definitely a must try new restaurant in the Grove

Wonderful experience. Went to celebrate two birthdays. Johnathan was super nice and helpful. The meal was so truly delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend The Grape & Olive. AT LEAST 10 STARS - really so good.

My first time coming here and it was fantastic. Every staff member was so kind and helpful and my server Jonathan was amazing. The environment felt very welcoming. I will say drinks were a little pricey in my opinion but they tasted amazing. Definitely recommend.

The atmosphere is cold, the tables are exposed and the drinks are terribly overpriced. My wife and I hoped for a romantic date night, this is not the place for this. We ordered salads for a light affair after being told that they are healthy portions. Well, we left hungry and terribly disappointed. Top it all off with being blinded in the brightest bar in existence, sorry, but if you are wanting an adult night out you don’t want to bring sunglasses. We won’t be back, not worth the money they are asking for the drinks. If you order a watermelon salad you expect some watermelon, a beet salad should have beets. We had such high hopes for this place. Left with only disappointment.
