For those that don’t eat meat leave this place alone. Not everyone wants to be vegan nor does anyone shove being vegan down your throat. I have had only great experience with this company. The owners personally took care of me and my owner. They explained their processes. Very ethical. They are open to discussion. The quality of the meat is amazing. I can’t recommend enough

Decent people, but be aware if you’re picking up a load here. They won’t let you on dock while being loaded, have the shipper seal the trailer and signed that they sealed it. If there is a shortage of product at delivery at delivery. It’s on the driver / Carrier. They have multiple stop loads. Non of the receivers will let you on dock while unloading, and if there is a shortage again it’s on the driver/ Carrier. Even if you report the shortage immediately, they won’t reply but will deduct from pay ( when they pay after weeks. )

We recently moved close to the Stockyards and unbeknownst to us, a slaughterhouse. What an absolute horror to discover that right behind a trendy shopping area this is happening. The first clue was the dreadful stench that extends for miles, the second was seeing one transport truck after another filled with terrified animals. I can't even imagine the psychological destruction that people working here suffer, and how desperate you need to be to make a living doing this kind of work. I started becoming so triggered driving to the Stockyards that I've completely stopped. This needs to go...it's 2022.

Hi I live on st Clair west and Caledonia it is now 12:55 midnight and the whole neighborhood smells. How do I know it’s from here? I grew up here, all the locals know. I remember going to Pope Paul in elementary school and the smell would permeate the main floor every now and then some things never change just like my opinion of the place.

It's a very nice & competitive meat packers . All the staff is very customer friendly. Owner is very nice and humble person. Quality of the meat very good and it is really a big plant. Wages of employees are also good.
