Average Joes Sports Bar
Management here is a joke. I went to take the last swig from my pint of Guinness and found a fly swimming around in the bottom. I showed our server the fly in the drink, and she asked if I wanted another. I kindly asked if she could take it off the bill instead. She came back and her response from the manager was “because you found it at the end there’s nothing we can do.” Wow, really? We were a table of five ordering a lot of food and drinks and that’s the response from a manager? That it’s somehow my fault because I found it too late? Great customer service. I had to plead my case with two of the bartenders and a different server after I paid my bill before they finally did the right thing and refunded the drink.I also ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which was honestly the driest, saltiest chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It took me a good 20 seconds to cut through it with a serrated knife. One of our friends at the table mentioned, “that’s a pretty dark looking sandwich”. Yes, because it was that overcooked. I didn’t bother to even bring that up after the first charming response I received about the beer.So thank you to the server who refunded the beer, but I will never come back to this place again.

Average Joes Sports Bar
Great place for sports fans, lots of TV's with multiple games. This can be a bit of a challenge if you are following one particular club/sport. In fairness, management are trying to appeal to a variety of fans. Not the best place if you want to go for a drink and conversation - too noisy. That being said, as a sports fan, lots of energy is generated. They have a couple of bar pool tables, however, most guests were engrossed in the TV's. Our server, Megan, was great. Very personable.

Came here for lunch with my wife and toddler. We’ve use to love AJ’s, have always had great food and service. This time it took almost 20 minutes for a server to drop off menus, after ordering our drinks the waitress never brought the side of clamato I asked for - I had to go to the bar to get some. We rarely even saw our server walk by. Once we ordered our food we asked for our bill right away like we always do when eating out with a toddler but we were never brought the bill. After about an hour of waiting the server brought us one out of 3 dishes we ordered, but no napkins or cutlery. When she came back about 15 minutes later we asked if the other meals were coming and for cutlery - she said the kitchen was backed up. We all shared the meal and once again we asked for the bill. We didn’t see our waitress again, no other food brought out, no bill brought out. We were running late and really needed to go so we did our best to guess what the bill would be, left money on the table and left. We will never be returning.

This place is nuts when the Oilers are playing.. the atmosphere is insane. If you're able to get a table I totally recommend it.

Average Joes Sports Bar
I rarely write a review but this has to be said. I went in the other night for a bite with my brother sat down 15/20 minutes went bye with no one coming around to take our order. The servers were too busy chit chatting at the bar. The establishment wasn’t even busy either. Absolute embarrassment I used to come here often when I lived in the area and usually have had great service now probably won’t be returning as this has happened a few times recently.

This was my first time visiting in probably 10 years after moving away from Sherwood park.Average Joes has a comfortable (not too loud) atmosphere and seating, reasonable prices, and delicious food! The menu has a solid variety of mostly Canadian cuisine. The rollups are the best I've ever had. Would recommend!The service was amazing. We didn't have to wait too long for anything. Our server was on top of refilling drinks and seemed to know exactly when to check in.This is a great casual dining spot, even if you're not into sports!

The food quality is really poor for the price. You can actually get better food at the Costco close by. They also charge per pop refill. I wouldn't recommend going here.

Service has gone really down hill. Sat at the bar, had to get our own napkins and utensils, bartender never made eye contact, had to summon him over each time and otherwise went ignored for 2 hours . Spend your time and money elsewhere - they don’t want it here.

Great atmosphere nice ice cold drinks and absolutely gorgeous servers... And I will definitely say steak sandwich I had was excellent as well ,
