The place is ok, the satay soup was not really satay, it was like a regular spicy pho compared to other ones I’ve tried, did not enjoy the soup honestly, however the owner was very friendly and I liked that they have other menu options, like cheeseburgers for kids and the size was quite generous for a good price. The owner came out with freezie treats for my kids which of course was nice. We tried the desserts and they were amazing. Overall it was a very good customer experience but wouldn’t come back because I am a satay lover but this satay did not meet expectations.

I went to have dinner at this pho king restaurant on 118 Ave. The Tom Young soup was flavorless and I mention to the owner that the soup was not good. I was told that this is how it always tastesI didn't eat the soup. I been to other Vietnamese restaurants and the Tom Young soup has a sweet and sour with a hint of spicy flavor. I was charged for the soup and I will not be going back. Costumers don't win here.

A good little Vietnamese food place on 118 ave. Small and unassuming, but the food is very tasty. We will likely be returning a few more times to sample other dishes. I did enjoy my Time Yum soup

Great place for Vietnamese. Got the biggest, tastiest, cheapest coconut fried shrimp here. 6 big piece for $8! The Pho was good and we got a vermicelli bowl that was very tasty as well. Would recommend and will return.

Great Vietnamese restaurant. The spring rolls are delicious and served hot. Been here a few times over the years and have always enjoyed the food. The Vietnamese coffee is really good. The restaurant is smaller and the building is older but recently renovated so don’t let that deter you from coming. Good menu with a good variety of choices.

We stopped here for dinner after attending a plant and craft fair on Alberta Avenue. My son recommended it because they eat the Pho from here all the time. It's an unassuming building but when you walk in it actually has quite a few tables. It's very clean and has a cozy, quiet, light atmosphere. And the seating is quite comfortable. The service was very fast and friendly. The menu has a large selection as would be expected from a Pho restaurant but it also has quite a few western dishes as well. Once ordered, your dishes arrive quite quickly and they are fresh and hot. And I love how they bring the ice water - a glass of water with ice along with a corked bottle of ice water. We had Spring Rolls for an appetizer which we shared - they were very good and very HOT (as in temperature), I had the Queen's Special Vermicelli Bowl (chicken, beef, shrimp, spring roll and a fried egg) with accompanying fish sauce and peanuts. My companions had the Spicy Seafood Pho (hot and sour soup with lobster balls, fish tofu, imitation crab, and shrimp) and a Hamburger with Onion Rings. All were very good. The beef satay in the vermicelli bowl was amazing! The Onion Rings were tasty and not very greasy at all. We were all quite happy with our dinner. For the 3 of us dinner came to just over $50 but the portion sizes are large - we took half the hamburger and onion rings home. They sell t-shirts there which are pretty funny - and the proceeds go to an orphanage in Vietnam.

I been a few here times. I enjoyed it every time. I always got the pho. It taste different from other restaurants but its still good. Every restaurant has their recipe on pho, but yeah I thought it was really good.I will return in the future :)

#1 Son and I Looove this Food, and Pho King is deliberately and delicately spiced. The Pho is beautifully flavourful and vermicelli enticing. We’ve had both spring rolls and salad rolls, enjoying both. We’ve eaten here perhaps 4 times but will certainly return. Family Owned and Operated. Not quick service when dining in, if that’s what required. We’re not on a hurry as a rule.
