They did a friend of mines wedding and the pictures were AMAAAZING. The photographer/videographers were very professional and their attention to detail is crazy! I highly recommend them!

They helped with my cousins wedding! It was a 12 hour wedding and I saw the photographer running around to make sure he got all of the best moments! The pictures came out beautifully. My whole family commented on how hard the photographer was working to get us the best pictures!

I regret using this company for my wedding. The worst investment I have ever made. They sold us on a lie. Our “wedding” photographer and videographer were not trained doing weddings. I was asked for a list of shots to be taken and only had 2-3 of the shots done. There was no direction, I had to try to gather people and request shots in the moment. They lost audio on our video. The edits were horrible and made everyone look like they had jaundice, you couldn’t even make out the proper colour of the dresses, they tried to reedit and it was done way to cool…. I honestly believe that they used an iphone photo editor.. not only that, but they chose double shots and unflattering pictures when they had taken better shots (thankfully I requested the raw images before signing the contract). In the video they chose shots of me fixing my breasts in my dress twice and the part of my vows where I stumbled. We spent most of our wedding budget on them and it took me a year to not care about how awful everything was to post our “social video” and haven’t even shared our photos… I’ve never been so let down in my life. We paid thousands of dollars for 3 decent shots.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, invest in a better company.. you will be far less disappointed.

Cannot recommend at all - the experience was overall a terrible one leaving us stressed and angry with no real solutions to help solve the problems. Another review left was almost the exact same experience we had, so ours was clearly not a one off issue. To be honest, give a friend a camera and windows photo editor and they will probably do a better job.

Golden hour studios went above and beyond to deliver.Everything was well put together, from the consultation, the contract, and the communication website (honey book). Amanda (Lead Wedding Manager) answered every question and was prompt and professional.The Golden Hour team is there for you. They are flexible and accommodating. They are composed of multiple people; therefore, if one team member is sick and unable to make your wedding, someone else can step in and take over. Or if you need to change your wedding date (like we had to), it wasn't a problem and golden hour could accommodate.The eight-hour Dimond bundle" plus the audio was the best option for us. The contract was clear and detailed. We had multiple meetings with the photographer (Ahmed) and videographer (Tiago). We had various questionnaires to fill out through HoneyBook to let the team know what we wanted and what was important to us for the wedding day.During the meetings and the wedding

We used Golden Hour studios as our videographers for our February wedding this year at the Cambridge Mill. Ian and Ritz were our videographers for the day. They were very great to work with; accommodating and easy to talk with. They shot the day start to finish, and we received all the raw footage after the wedding. Golden Hour studios then edited together a spectacular highlight reel. Heather and Christian were great to deal with and answered any and all questions that we had throughout the process.We will definitely be tagging Golden Hour Studios in our socials as this was an area we found lacked when we were deciding on booking. To ease our minds we would have loved to see more recent and local videos shot to get a better understanding of how they shoot.Overall, we are very pleased with our final product and happy we went with Golden Hour Studios to capture our special day!

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I wish we had chosen someone different to work with for our wedding. When we first booked, they seemed attentive and the website gallery had beautiful work. Unfortunately, when our wedding day came we knew things were not quite as advertised. The videographer showed up late without any consolation or extra time added. Our photographer barely spoke to us, and did not direct anyone into positions or guide us through the shots. Her and the videographer did not work together at all, so there was a lot of waiting around for one person to get a shot, then the other would step in. Many of our pictures had people standing out of line, or suits out of place - which could have been avoided with a little direction from them. They did not capture ANY candid shots during our cocktail hour (even though this was advertised on their website) and my guests noticed they were just standing around a lot. The videographer brought a second shooter without telling us, so we fed three people instead of two - luckily we had a last minute guest cancellation.Seems bad, right? It got WAY worse after the wedding. Communication was absolute garbage - taking weeks to respond to emails that “somehow ended up in the junk folder”, not returning our calls and not honouring the contract. Contract states we would get our videos and pictures in 60 days time… but it was 138 days till we actually received everything. The edits were terrible and the colours were so off - not what you expect from professionals. My skin was orange in comparison to my guests. When promised a range of 400-600 pictures, we got just over 400. They do not give you any sneak peeks, and didn’t photoshop anything until we requested edits and met with owner, Heather. We got married in Sept 2022 and only got our final re-edited photos by May 29, 2023. They caused us months of stress, tears and anger that I wouldn’t wish upon any new couple. When we told them all this, they didn’t really seem to care.You can also see that they are now getting their employees to write positive reviews to try and change their rating on google and hide the negative ones. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE!!!Picture shows their edited version vs the raw image - how did someone look at that and think it was okay??? (Very cropped to cut out guest faces)

I thought I loved my wife but I think I loved my wedding photos even more!Heather & Christian we’re both very responsive, very positive and very professional. I felt they took all my questions head on and responded with confidence. They also helped me get the best photography package for my price range!

Golden Hour Studios produce fantastic photos and footage, they truly are a pleasure to work with. The team works quickly and efficiently to fit in busy schedules. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing and well skilled photographers.

Golden Hour Studios did my sisters wedding and the pictures turned out beautifully. The photographers were professional and recommended a ton of shots that turned out to be our favourites!! And the pictures came back in a timely manner too. I highly recommend them for any event :)
