Clean, cozy and busy K BBQ restaurant on Bloor. Great customer service. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The portable sitting bench was small for two people. Meats were fresh and tasted really good but their side dishes were not very appealing. Many other Korean BBQ restaurants offer great selection of side dishes and free refill with cheesy corns and eggs. They served us a small spicy tofu stew and we also ordered a leek pancake. Both served hot and fast and they tasted delicious.

Delicious. We had Combo A which was more than enough food for 2.. still ate it all. All the sides are delicious.Wasn't a fan of the idea of corn + cheese until we had it here. It's a great way to break the richness of the meat and other flavours.

It was great food. Something to know is this is NOT AN ALL YOU CAN EAT. We only found out when we sat down since all the Korean bbq we had before was all inclusive. We went we combo D for 5 of us and it was enough food for all of us. Really good meat and side. We were very happy with our experience. and there was afew birthdays that they had cool way to celebrate it. At the end of your meal you receive a free sweet yogurt drink as dessert. Overall great.

Always good vibes in this place. Staff are very helpful and would come check on you every 15-20 minutes, not to say they’d cut and help you cook some of the meats. Portions are good and the food is very tasty. You’d listen to K-pop and sit almost like in a traditional Korean backalley restaurant. Will always come back ❤️

Came here for dinner since we were nearby.This is a great spot to eat with friends, the music is great but a bit too loud in my opinion. Hard to talk to others, so if you’re bothered by loud music/noises, I’d avoid this place.The service is very quick and the servers are super friendly as well! The meat they give you is great quality (Ie it doesn’t have an insane amount of fat on it) and they help you remove bones and cut the meat if you need some assistance.The prices were pretty reasonable and there is also a 10% discount if you pay by cash!

I found Ma Po to be an extremely reasonable kbbq place with perfect portions. Sometimes when you go to bbq joints, there's just too much meat etc. and you actually feel disgustingly full, or end up wasting food. I found the portions perfect!We ordered pork belly (19.99), and the top beef (31.99), and honestly I wouldn't order anything else because Korean restaurants always provide banchan (side dishes) including in your meal. It also came with a tofu soup that I was able to share with my boyfriend. The waiters will come periodically to cook your meat and the stove comes with cheese corn and steamed egg. You do get a pretty good spread.My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint was the music was super loud, more than usual. But I'm probably just old. Everything came up to under $70 for a kbbq meal which is amazing! They also give you yogurt drinks with your bill instead of those usual Asian candies, which I loved. I

Staff was welcoming. The cheesy corn was an absolute stealer. Food and service was amazing ! The quality of food was absolutely top notch . Can't get over the amazing care the staff gives you. It is something that makes you tip them more than 20 percent ! Good ambience too not too loud or crowded.

Absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we walked in to the moment we leave all staff were so helpful and welcoming. They have their own special service.The food was of high quality as expected, that was really nice.I could have taken better pictures, but their food cost me time to press the shutter.I recommend taking a picture the moment the food arrives. Once you taste it, you won't be able to stop.I would definitely definitely definitely plan on returning to try that experience.Special thanks to all the workers❤️

My friends and I came in for a late lunch today after walking through koreatown, and I’m glad we stopped by here! We ordered combo A with two orders of dumplings, one fried and one steamed. The dumplings were great, and the meat tasted fresh! Cooking wasn’t a hassle, and staff were very polite; we asked a staff member to help us cook the big piece of beef we got, and he was happy to help! We also got the soybean soup which really tied it altogether!It was a bit pricier compared to other places I’ve been to, but we were stuffed by the time we were done, so no complaints here!Also keep in mind that there is a 10% discount if you pay with cash, and they have an ATM available in-house.
