Landlords be careful. Watch your moneyWe want to preface by saying Monique is a very intelligent person. She knows well how to manipulate reality. Initially the process started off smooth, and lots of promises were made. However, over time we quickly realized that these promises were just that- promises with no results. Soon this became a major problem for us and our project.For instance, Monique gave us a quote for the renovation we were planning. The renovation project was started and the costs came in soon after. Very quickly the costs continued to increase, surpassing any projected budgets planned. When confronted about this, Monique’s response was to not worry about this- the main reason being that, ‘if your appraisal will be higher than what you paid for the house, then why worry about the cost of renovations.’ This is a false and risky way to think and it is not a good excuse to reason for why the cost of a renovation project double or triples from the original quote.Another common excuse Monique used to cover the reason of increasing costs and delays was COVID-19. Yea, the pandemic has affected many in their line of work, projects and access to goods and materials. However, with proper planning and thinking ahead, costs do not have to significantly double or triple from the original quote. Many others who were also doing similar renovations had only a 20% increase in costs from their original quote… not a double increase. And their projects were not delayed or at a standstill for months- ours was.Once confronted about this, Monique would then reply with her infamous “Honey, this is the way it goes, end of the story.” Not true- with proper and diligent planning, thinking ahead things can be done better and more efficiently. Hence, we grew tired of such excuses and expressions. She took control over our money on the project and there was no way back half way through. Very disappointing. Be vigilant and watch your money. Do not be naive

Monique is a great lady to deal with, very professional and accommodating. Any concerns we had while renting the property, which were very limited, we’re addressed in a timely manner. The property was always well kept and the grounds well maintained. I would not hesitate to reach out to Monique if I found myself in need of another rental property again in Sarnia.

Monique is a great property manager. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience. She gets the job done and very responsive. I wouldn’t rent from you or allow you to manage my properties. Perhaps people would rather post anonymously because retaliation and harassment is not below you.I have seen the way you deal with landlords, tenants, and your own employees/contractors. The way you speak to people is disgusting. Very unprofessional, often not following laws, and always skipping corners. If I could give you a zero I would. Quite frankly leaving no comment was being nice.Edit: I have unfortunately used your services, not willingly, and would never again. You can try to deflect the bad reviews all you want but it doesn’t take away from you being a terrible person and business. I’ve seen you first hand treat your contractors and it’s a wonder how you have anyone to work for you. But then again, cutting corners and hiring someone do fix the bare minimum is exactly what you’re about. Putting lipstick on a pig as you would say. You have taken advantage of a lot of good people, I’m certain karma will come around for you soon. Anyways… have fun burning your business to the ground and good luck.
