Take 5 Oil Change

Warning*** Stay away****, inexperience, and rude staff. damaged the oil pan drain bolt on the car, ended up with a big oil stain in my drive way and a $1000 bill to replace the oil pan. the manager (Dave) and his manager (Steve) had nothing to say but sorry, proove it was us although I took the car back rightaway. They have ni morals, save yourself the headache and stay away

Tomas was very genuine and nice while doing my oil change. Him and the two other guys working on my car made sure I was in and out with no problem I recommend this place for everyone

What a bunch of nice guys and honest. I guess the last oil I had they didn’t reset it (at another place) So I thought being an older vehicle I was losing oil. They looked under the hood and said “your good to go. You have oil sir” they could have hosed me but didn’t. And they let me keep the water bottle. Thanks guys!

This review is for whomever has a vehicle! Be careful from this business! True they are nice, but only if you accept to buy into their suggestions. They do not like people who understand their personal vehicles and the shop tactics. They offer to sell you overpriced items and insist that you need it. Here comes the $5.00 air filter that I absolutely needed to change for $39.95 installed! I asked them to shine the light through it, to prove I needed a new one, I was told they didn't need to! For everyone who is a mechanic, you know the trick I am referring to. When I refused their air filter, they got annoyed and NICE went out the window! I had a coupon which they took away from me, before I can show them what I wanted to purchase. I would have bought their wipers, if they honored the coupon, but the coupon face value is not true! They added some fictitious shop fees and overcharged me for their oil change. They bring you the debit machine to pay for the service before seeing the invoice. Even if the amount does not compute and you ask what are you paying for, you are pushed to pay, then they bring the invoice and you discover their crooked shop fees. Oil and filter are included in the service price, what are these shop fees? Be aware of this location before you go!

The business is called “take 5” more like take 45 just to even be acknowledged. My partner and I went at 430 and were told it would be less than 10 min- after waiting for over forty five minutes they still were in no rush to help us. What a complete joke/waste of time.

Very quick and solid service, don't try too get you too buy extra stuff like all other oil change places that you do not need, highly recommend this place if in a rush.

Went for oil and tire change. Website says Opens at 10, it’s 10:05 and nobody is here with an 6 car lineup. Guess some businesses don’t need to make money in this economy.Went to Mr Lube.. 8 employees running around servicing an 8 car lineup, much better. I will Never will come back here

My primary reason for giving 2 stars instead of just 1 is under the acknowledgment that they were grossly understaffed on the day I went, so I'll give some benefit of the doubt. I went here for an oil change on a Sunday afternoon and it ended up being almost 2.5 hours from arrival to departure... listened to almost the entire Bills game on the radio, lol.Only two employees were working at the time despite the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon at a busy time of year for various automotive services. One of them seemed to be newer to the job as he was just moping about for most of the time that I was watching from the lineup outside. Neither of them were moving with any sense of urgency despite the ever-growing lineup of cars that I was now stuck in outside the garage.When I arrived there were 3 cars ahead of me with 2 available service bays... I didn't enter the garage with my vehicle until 01:20:00 after I arrived and was not spoken to for another 25 minutes while both workers got occupied with the car in the bay beside me (which entered after me). My oil change took about 20 minutes once they finally got around to it and I was offered no apology or even acknowledgment of the lengthy wait time, and was charged full price.This isn't the first negative experience I've had with this Take 5 location, as a couple years ago they damaged my skid plate while accessing the oil pan and then denied it several times when I came back to address it with them the next day when I noticed it. Thought that maybe things would be better now, but I guess not.With all this in mind, I would recommend the Take 5 location on Dundas just east of Appleby Line, I've been in to see them on a few occasions over the years and they've never disappointed. Even came through for me and gave me a free crush washer when I did my own change for the first time!The saving grace of the situation is that I've gone a few hundred kilometres so far with no issues, so at least it seems they did the job right when they got around to my car, but if you want the speedy and efficient service that Take 5 advertises, I wouldn't hold your breath for this location.

You guy did a great job was polite and professional. I should have asked his name. He was good at presenting upsells that I knew I needed but kept that to myself until he offered. Quick and simple oil change

Good quick service. Pleasant experience. Got oil change and wiper blade change. The cabin filter was very dirty so got that changed as well.
