Cineplex Odeon Victoria Cinemas

Very interesting and unasuming cineplex. Just about any trip I make to Victoria I try to watch a movie here. The only down side I can find is the restrooms are not the most convenient to find and you will either take stairs or an elevator to get to them so make sure you use them before the movie or hold it until the movie is over. It would be nice if they could open the second concessions area on the upper level but it's not a deal breaker. I recommend seeing a movie here if you have the time and want to see something.

Movie theatre is pretty standard but the seating is terrible. Went there to see a movie and purchased tickets for my group however I was not informed these tickets were for the wheelchair area. One member of my group had to have a staff member bring him a chair from the lobby! I expect better from Cineplex than this

This is a quite outdated cinema, they upgraded the seats to compete with landmark but they are so uncomfortable. They barely recline..But by far the worst part is the 15 minutes of commercials they force you to watch. This is the last time I go to any Cineplex. Not to mention how expensive the food is.Landmark you can have all my movie theatre money thanks to Costco.

Never go to Cineplex movie theater, they don't care about the customer's experience at all. When my friend and I tried to buy two Cocaine Bear movie tickets through the machine, we found that the machine was malfunctioning and there was no way to issue tickets. It caused us to stand there awkwardly, so I ran to the cinema to find the staff to repair the machine, they repaired the machine, and when they were about to give us the movie tickets, they said that the movie was booked for the next show, and they tried to say It's not their responsibility, it's not their responsibility to tell me that the printer that I paid for couldn't get out the movie tickets, they are not willing to provide any compensation for the inconvenience of buying tickets, when we asked for compensation, their attitude and arrogance, as if at all Don't care about customers! ! ! Terrible customer experience! Don’t do any business with Cineplex, it is wasting your money!

Was there for the first time the past Tuesday… the recliner was comfortable, there weren’t a lot of people, seemed clean enough… so the experience was good.The screen could be a little bigger though imo but whatever

Has a very small town cinema look and vibes to it which I really liked, since I'm from Calgary and hadn't been to a cinema like that before. Their recliner seats are comfortable and the screens are old school (screen curtains fully open when the movie starts). It's not super crowded. Washrooms are in the basement and are well maintained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Recliners are cool (could do with a little TLC). We did have to wait nearly 10 minutes for tickets with only 2 people in line.... 4 staff members working and only one actually serving.Overall nice chilled cinema.

We had a family outing and realized that Odeon do not provide car parking. We’ve been in various countries: developed and developing and all had free car parking. Interesting that how cinema hall is making profit and totally defying “Customer is the King” Economic theory. Part of the fault lies with the customers too that they do not care but follow these Monopolist’s negative commercial practice.It’s just luck that Covid infections are not spreading here or maybe they are (who’s checking?) as no one is sanitizing tables or handles. Popcorn topping and straw table was so dirty, floor was dirty, and toilets were stinky too. Still no one cares even though families are coming with little kids. Ignorant customers and profit earning management. I don’t think things are going to get any better. Even small cinema halls in third-world countries are cleaner with free parking and more luxurious than this. I did not like it at all.Front row seats are so close to the screen that our necks start to ache and eyes were glared too much by the light. The corner seat recliner buttons were broken. Emergency exit way is dirty and kinda scary. It should be kept clean and safer looking by the management but would they care when customers don’t even complain? Oh well. I guess it’s better to pay 5-7 dollars on Apple TV, Hulu or Netflix for new releases and watch movies at home, than come to dirty cinema hall and pay for car parking, spend on gas, and higher chances of contracting infections…

Really nice reclining seats here and great location right downtown and though the screens are a bit small compared to their newer, modern counterparts. If you want big screen action, don’t sit in the first 2 rows or toward the back, you might be disappointed with the view and the sound. Sitting in the middle seats would be ideal.

I like that this place is in walking distance from where i live. Theater's are not the biggest, but i dont actually really notice. Always clean and tidy. Staff are always helpful and friendly. I love all the recliner seats. I also really love the afternoon times. There is hardly anyone there for the afternoon shows during the week.
