Tasty food selections! The squid, beef carpaccio and the soft shell crab special in particular was very tasty :) (I would order the izakaya food over the sushi rolls) would come again!

Super friendly staff and amazing sashimi. Obviously the tapas were great too. Plenty of sake choices and you get your own fancy sake cup too! Definitely will be back again!

Amazing food and the staff was incredibly fun and friendly. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant experience I’ve had in years. I would highly recommend coming here.

This place was not only delicious with AMAZINGLY fresh seafood but great service that served you with a friendly smile. You can tell they love what they do. It shows in their food. I would definitely come here again. Wish I lived closer so I could eat this everyday.

To be honest, if you get hit by a car right after eating here, you will die a happy person. Legitimately almost cried. Have tried dozens of Japanese cuisine restaurants in the Okanagan and the Vancouver/Richmond areas and must say this is my new favourite by a mile. Staff are very friendly and incredibly efficient. Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced. The chef is very talented in creating the perfect ratios, textures and combinations in each and every dish. Can't recommend this place highly enough! I know I will be sleeping well tonight.

Everything here is good for the Izakaya menu, except the rice for my uni nigiri, taste like mixture of jasmine and Japanese rice or too much water... Will go again, only for their hot food

The presentation and choice of serving plates and dinnerware here was very creative, fun, and aesthetically pleasing. In particular, the Uni shooters came in shot glasses that were in a shark’s mouth and tasty with a generous portion of sake. The trifecta mini don was also a nice way to sample multiple flavours in a cute trio and the sushi rice was perfect. The robata here is also very good. They servers are very speedy refilling your tea and water which is nice.The dishes that could have been better was the foie Gras toast because it came on top of avocado and lettuce which under normal circumstances are excellent toast toppers. However, the highlight of foie Gras is the creamy fattiness and butteriness which in this case was masked by the creaminess of the avocado so the foie Gras flavour was unable to be discerned and appreciated. Also, their addition of tart cherry tomatoes in the oyster motoyaki in my opinion did not pair well with the creamy flavours.Overall it’s comparable to Manzo only with less traditional Japanese flavour profiles but with more fun presentation choice.

Our whole family went here and we were all so happy as the food was amazing and the service was spectacular!!! The food was so fresh and delicious! They also plate it really pretty. My daughter left her sushi she wanted to take home and someone from their team ran out and gave it to us. Now that’s such 5 star service!! Will be coming here again!! Highly recommend!
