I have been training in Krav Maga for almost 2 years and really enjoy the classes. The head instructor Christian is the real deal. I have learned more solid self defence in the past several months studying with him than in years of practicing more traditional martial arts. Christian is able to work with his students no matter their background, ability or fitness level. I especially like his teaching style which uses realistic scenarios for training, and his emphasis on always maintaining the proper mental attitude in every self defence situation.

Great real life self defense training. Great for boosting situational awareness and self-esteem. We train for many situations and scenarios such as car jackings, multiple attackers, knife and gun scenarios, how to protect love ones and your children and many more. I have worked security for over 10 years and I have never felt more prepared or capable of handling any situation that comes my way. Christian is a fantastic teacher who takes a very realistic approach to teaching about the violence that most of us are still too blind to see.I have been amongst the people who think bad things only happen to others, until I met him. The threat is there, and being oblivious to it won't protect you. His greatest gift is to make you expand your mind about the good, the bad and the ugly of the world we currently live in and to empower you to take your safety into your own hands. He teaches hard classes, they're not for the lazy or the faint of heart, with lots of workouts and reality based situations. Expect a good sweat, a good laugh and to build friendships with like-minded people.Christian is knowledgeable, strict, funny and he gives you the tools to succeed if you're willing to put in the effort. He gave me confidence to walk with my head up. He gave me confidence to face a dangerous situation should it ever happen to me.In the end, I am my own best protection.

I Love it! From the moment I stepped inside I knew I was going to love it! Mr. Christian is a great teacher, the classes are well organized, partners are cool. Wow, Christian is an incredible instructor!! I went to his specialized female class today, it blew my mind. I’ve never done Krav Maga before, or any other combat class - I wasn’t sure of myself, didn’t think I’d get much from the first class, but I walked out feeling so good! I was sore, but empowered and most importantly, after just the first class, I learned that I can fight! I would HIGHLY recommend Christian’s Krav Maga classes to anyone - male or female, he’s the real deal. I've been training with Christian (Krav Maga Calgary) for over a year now. The self defense system is the most effective I've trained in and Christian's teaching talent and approach is excellent. The class vibe is friendly and focused with any level of experience welcomed. Highly recommended.
