Good selection for cigars and has a room to smoke them. Fair price too. Only downside is that they have a wheelchair accessible door immediately followed by stairs and no ramp. Kind of deceiving

The cigars are well kept and smoke very well. The selection is good but fairly limited.Would not reccomend any accessories. The lighter ($20) broke after lighting 3 cigars. The cutter ($20) was super dull and would crack the sticks.And lastly the brigham hygrometer ($30) was off by %4 humidity and 6 degress celsius.Make the investment in premium accesories. Its worth it.Staff was friendly and the store was clean

A bit overpriced but wide selection of cigars. The vibe is kinda drab and customer service was okay. The sales rep doesnt even smoke cigars, how can you trust his recommendations?

Good selection. The guy that runs the shop is always welcoming and knowledgeable. He’s made great recommendations to me.

Great local cigar shop. The owner works hard to keep a good supply and the prices are fair. Cigars are in good condition, humidors work well.

Very nice cigar shop you can find some different cigars from South America. Easy for parking.

Visited them over the weekend. Great experience, the gentleman behind the counter (owner?) was knowledgeable and happy to help. Found what I was looking for and he helped ensure I had a way to preserve their freshness. The prices could get a bit high for a few specific brands but overall were on point.

Terrible experience. Cigars are way over priced. Probably 25% more than City Cigar in Vancouver. Has a limited selection. Unfortunate because I live in Port Moody, but any cigar I buy from this place is ridiculously dry. I suppose they do not know how to properly keep cigars. Mine split. If they were properly kept and were good to smoke right away it may be worth it but id have to keep a cigar in my humidor for a month just for it to smoke well if I bought it from them.

There are other better places to buy cigars. As a long-time cigar smoker who has experienced many other cigar stores, Havana Cubana is, at best, merely 'adequate.'First of all, the lighting is just plain wrong. Badly wrong. A cigar store should be a welcoming, inviting environment with warm and well positioned illumination. Also, maybe a little appropriate music would not go amiss - something with a bit of a Cuban vibe or some relaxing jazz would help to further create an inviting atmosphere.When I walk in Havana Cubana it is a bit like walking into a chapel of rest, deathly silent, dark and a little off-putting to say the least.The person running the joint does not even smoke cigars and I cannot lie, it does overshadow the whole experience. Premium cigar smoking is a deep, abiding passion for many of us; indeed, it is part of a larger culture. A good cigar store owner will share this passion and have an expansive knowledge base built on personal experience - of cigar lore, travel experiences and reflections on the shared camaraderie that lies at the heart of this lifestyle.The accessories are to be avoided if possible. Go elsewhere if you need a cutter or a lighter.As for the cigars themselves, the last time I was there, the selection was serviceable - if somewhat pricey compared to other places hereabouts. The young man is polite and friendly and does his best to be helpful. However, offering advice and reciting flavor profiles gleaned from third parties is no substitute for a first-hand experience of the product.This retail space has enormous possibility. It is a pity that Havana Cubana does not live up to its potential.
