I worked for Empire for close to five years. I never missed a shift, showed up early, stayed late and skipped breaks on a daily basis to help finish jobs on schedule. I denied raises when covid hit to help the company out. I drove truck without asking for more money, which is standard in this industry. I had tools stolen from me, I was accused of being intolerant and bigoted, I was secretly recorded by other employees and treated like a lesser person. I helped new hires, I was always willing and able to work hard and never mistreated anyone. It's been difficult finding work with a negative reference. I honestly don't understand why I was targeted, I always tried doing my best.
