I bought a pair of shoes here, and confirmed the return policy with the cashier during check out. I found different shoes that I liked better elsewhere and came to return them 2 days later without ever taking them out of the box. The salespeople refused to give me a refund because there was a scuff on the shoe that they did not make a note of when selling them to me, so they couldn’t prove that I hadn’t made the scuff. They offered to do exchange only but it also had to be in that exact store. I do not live nearby so was essentially pressured to picking out another pair of shoes on the spot. They eventually ended up refunding me but gave me a “warning” that they would not do it next time. There won’t be a next time.. ridiculous policy.

Walked into the store hoping to get help choosing a comfortable shoe. Sales people looked at me waited till I myself chose a few options before offering to retrieve a size to try. Then once they brought to me one of the two I selected they went back to ignoring me. I left the shoes on the floor and left as the service was terrible. If you want to work in sales be sure you know how to sell.

I purchased a pair of booties a size too small. I called the PC location to see if they had a size bigger in store. Gabe was awesome. He found that there were only 2 available in Canada, and called around the different stores that were located outside of BC. He was able to secure one of them and called me back with an update all within 5 minutes! Super happy with my experience, and it's all thanks to Gabe!

Ali was amazing, he helped my wife a lot and she felt so comfortable buying. And we are both happy with purchase. I wish more stores have people like him, ha made me feel at home!!!

Hello there,I phoned Steve Madden early in the morning last Saturday and Angela X picked up. I was asking to see if they had a boot in stock. Sadly, they did not but Angela X let me know the team was going to the warehouse later and she thinks she could get them for me by end of day. I really needed them for that evening for an event so she knew there was urgency.Before getting my hopes up Angela X said she wanted to check in on somethings and would call me back in 30 minutes. She did exactly that and phoned me to let me know that she could get the boots from the warehouse and I could pick them up in store.When I went to the store Angela G approached me to ask if I needed help. I let her know about the boots and she promptly went back to get them. Despite the store being extremely extremely busy with early black market Friday sales and the normal busy Saturday, they really helped me through it. Angela X also had two boots ready for me in case the other ones did not workout. Angela G could see that I was extremely anxious as well and brought me to a place to sit and try them on.Well, the boots fit.. everything came in on time, and the staff was nothing but kind!It might sound like a small act of kindness, but for someone who just moved from a very small town to a very big city it made a world of difference to know that there are still people who can personalize an experience.I can not wait to continue to support Steve Madden because of these girls!
