Basha's Shawarma
The best Shawarma I know to get in Tecumseh/Windsor. The chicken is moist and delicious. They listen to you when you say what you want. Everyone is friendly. The fries are made fresh. It's nothing but a 5-star.

This is my 1st time visiting this restaurant. As usual, I read reviews before visiting. Even though the net rating was 4.5, I read some reviews which talked about the food quality and customer service. The main differential between Mediterranean/East Indian restaurants and Western restaurants is the customer service. I am not labelling all of them by the same brush, but in majority of the cases you will find the customer service to be on the lower end in Mediterranean/East Indian restaurants compared to Western ones, which are always top notch in customer service. I ordered Beef/chicken shawarma platter. When I asked if they can put garlic sauce on top, he straight up declined. I have eaten in multiple dozens of Mediterranean restaurants across North America, Europe and Middle East. If the customer is asking you to put garlic sauce on top of the meat, then please oblige because the meat does not have much flavor. They also do not put hummus and charge extra if you need it. Again, this is something new which I never came across before. The salad portion had some flavor, but other than that the meat on top of rice was really bland. Do you find value for the money spent ? Absolutely no. Are you going to miss anything, if you do not visit ? Again no. If they are just a bit more receptive to customers and listen, do these little gestures people would revisit. You are probably losing out on repeat customers, which you do not even know. Overall an average place to eat.

First time in Windsor area and this place was right beside the spot where I needed to go. Decided to try it and I didn’t get disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Especially I want to thank the staff for the great service and even gave me advices where I could find a nice place for dinner in town. Highly recommend to give it a try if you want a flavourful shawarma.

I ordered the small chicken and rice bowl. It was good. Portion size was huge for being a large.Lacked spices & flavors but that's something sauce could have easily fixed. I would eat here again just next time put some hot sauce on my food. :) The lady working the counter was very friendly and nice.

Got a shawarma sandwich for takeout. Staff were busy, politely let me know they would be right with ne. Order was assembled quickly and checkout was fast also. Most importantly, the sandwich was delicious. Sandwich was warm and ingredients tasted fresh. Will be back!

Pros.Service was quick.Shawarma had alot of chicken and toppings.Fires were hot.ConsNot enough garlic sauce for me.Asked for garlic sauce twice for my fires, didn't get any.Dispite the garlic sauce issues it was a good experience, good price for the amount you receive.

Probably the best value, quality and service we’ve experienced in Windsor for Middle Eastern cuisine! From the moment we walked in, my husband and I were impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff and the freshness of our meals. The staff were so helpful with the menu items and went above and beyond. We dined in and observed they also do a great carry-out business (it was non-stop). We couldn’t have asked for a better experience - we definitely will be back!
