Amazing hospital! I can’t thank them enough for the care they had for my husband. I have not encountered any poor staff, all the staff were exceptional!! I feel bad for them when people have to berate them and yell at them. They are doing the best they can with what they have. Thank you for helping us!

I came here a year ago to get emergency surgery to remove my appendix. All the staff in every part of the process were lovely. The surgical assistant was very kind, and he made me laugh which helped a lot with the nerves. Dr Stevenson did a great job for the surgery. When I was back in my room, the nurses were incredibly sweet, saying if you ever need anything at all like food or have questions

I went in on boxing day for a really bad hernia at 1pm, I had surgery by 2pm the following day. Every single person interacted with from the time I arrived there was excellent to deal with. I saw the caring way they treated some of the old confused patients and overheard difficult conversations with patients and family members while I had my overnight stay. Very impressed with the staff at RUH, thanks for everything!

Very business only" atmosphere. Why too long wait line for Starbucks! Every parking spot is pay parking and you have to guess how long you'll need! No security at entrances anymore!"

Hospital is well equipped and clean. Quality of care really depends on who you ran into. There are amazing, knowledgable and compassionate doctors and nurses and there are doctors" who are not qualified to mop the floors hardly take care of the sick people. Unfortunately as a chronic illness patient I learned that the hard way"

Darren the security is a disgusting excuse for a human. Punched me in my freshly operated on nose and re broke it. Told me that it was funny I was in distress and was laughing while he said it .the security there have no people skills and should not be in a position of power. Joseph tahn and the older guy Darren are to be avoided in the hospital and they are sociopaths. Waste of skin and oxygen they are

I recently broke my leg and had to go to Saskatoon to see a ortho doctor as my local hospital doctors weren’t sure on how my break was and if it needed surgery. Went and visited the RUH and it was the fastest I’ve been in and out of a hospital. Admitting was not aware of me coming and there was some confusion but it was looked after. I was impressed with the wait time and it was fast and easy. Only thing I didn’t like was how small the doors are in the old hospital, not very wheel chair accessible which is wild for a hospital. Other than that I was not there for hours which I thought I would be.

Who added this? This isn't where the RUH is, there is no hospital here. This is dangerous.

I really hope there are still some decently caring individuals still working in this facility.Based on what I've experienced over the past few years, so much has changed and I've completely lost confidence in this Hospital. One family member went there with a bladder infection. Just because this one was advanced in age and had Parkinsons, they suggested not to treat and let nature take it's course! I was shocked to say the least. I refused, they treated but continued pushing their view. Our loved one recovered, was sitting up, feeding themself and chatting up a storm. The only issue was our loved one was not to be given liquids. The morning I was to take them home I arrived to have the nurse ask me to assist giving meds because our LO was resisting. As I entered their room it was immediately evident they were in serious pulmonary distress. Our LO told me the nurse is crazy and was forcibly shoving liquid and medicines down their throat. I told the nurse that there is an order in the chart that they're not to be given liquids and she just stood there stunned without answering. I asked for the doctor who looked shaken as well after finding out what happened. Everything went downhill from there with our loved one dying from the aspiration caused by this nurse. I won't comment on the treatment after this event which was abysmal. I've had another family member suffer aspiration at the hand of a nurse somewhere else and they received absolute perfection in treatment after the fact. So, in comparison RUH was horrible in that area as well. All along the whole ordeal, I was treated as the crazy relative who actually cared enough about their LO to ask for their bladder infection to be treated so they could return to enjoying their life. Instead one left in a body bag and the others severely psychologically damaged. Our other LO went to RUH ER and that was a gong show. The front line nurse was incredibly rude for no reason, we had just walked in.The staff in triage was incredibly unprofessional and there seemed to be a lot of them just sitting around laughing and well just...sitting.We didn't know the lay of the land for this newish part of the hospital and we didn't want to leave to explore as they couldn't tell us how long etc. Our sick and elderly LO had been there for 9 hours! They said they'd bring heart medication - they didn't. They said they'd bring a sandwich or toast or something as the patient hadn't eaten and was starting to shake - they didn't. They said our LO was due for bloodwork right away, we waited 2 hours and they never did come back. Earlier we were told it wasn't a stroke or heart attack so, after 9 hours we just walked out. This was a long, uncomfortable (even for a non sick person) wait for a frail elderly un-medicated patient.Interestingly, the persons coming in after us openly just demanding pain medication were treated and passed out in the lobby, waiting for a taxi, as we walked out.
