Signed up with Shaw in July. Internet has been slow and Wi Fi laggy since day 1. Waited 3hrs today at home for Shaw tech to show up. He never did. Time to switch back to Telus

First I'll mention their lack of customer on the phone and chat. Regularly when called they have hundreds, today 1233, clients waiting so they give you the call back option which you may or may not receive and if you do they put you on hold again for another 20 - 30 minutes. Of course you give up and so the challege game goes on. The chat is a whole other story but with the same result.Therefore you are kinda forced into visiting their place and are met with more ridicule from the staff who really haven't a clue unless it's a drop off, pick up or payment. If I ran my business in this manner I may last six months or so but Shaw has their poor service down to a fine science and have little competition.

Made the earliest appointment possible on a Tuesday for the tv-technician for the following Sunday 8 - 10 AM. I came home after a 12 hrs night shift and waited till 11.30 AM and nobody showed up or called me to cancel the appointment. This is more than a poor service. If you want to call Shaw or chat online you have to wait min. 27 min....that's another poor customer service.

The staff are very defensive towards you and don't listen to your issues. I would prefer to call for my ongoing billing mistakes but am tired of waiting up to 30 minutes at times and their call backs are at their convenience and never yours.Last straw was when I had 5 different amounts showing between on line, paper bill , chat line and two different agents. Yikes, no more. Done with them and their untrained staff who are seldom able to help.I think Shaw are more interested in going after new customers rather than holding onto the clients they have which is a recipe for disaster. Also now trying to get the business accounts who they cater to hand over foot.I'm outta here.

Phone shaw to cancel my service.. of 10 years+ I couldnt answer all the security questions. Go down in person show ID. “Sorry we cannot cancel we are retail only!”. Back to the call center.. you have to return the modem unit by mail now because of covid lol. Nothing makes sense.Quest to cancel shaw continues..

Will be contacting the crtc- merger as of aug 3 2023 with rogers potentially violates provincial, federal and international laws- and i refuse to be a victim of greedy corporate money schemes- transparency of information sharing policies between all parties involved is esential to good business practice and ongoing trust between providers and consumers. Dont even get me started on accessibility, diversity and inclusion strategies for profits and marketability- buy local, shaw. Invest in your communities and work on making your services affordable to low income and under represented communities- like rural and remote areas where children and government agencies can utilize AFFORDABLE access. Do good things, please.
