Ollie’s Rescue
Something is very wrong at this place. My neighbor had two day old orphan kittens and I said I would help her. I put an ad in kijiji looking for a nursing cat. This 'rescue' answered my email and said they had a lactating cat who's kittens had just weaned. So it seemed perfect! Wrong. I drove out to this house in Ayton. I asked to see the nursing cat - checked to see if she was a queen and she was. So I left the two kittens and donated some cat food and money. The young man said he would 'keep me updated'. He didn't. In fact I had a 'disagreement' with him when I called a couple days later when he sent me a picture of them in a container with a red light on them. He told me that he'd decided to bottle feed them and put them in a heated container. I was very upset as I had only brought them to him because I wanted them to be nursing from a CAT and my ad was very clear that that was what I was looking for. So he said he would send me pictures of them nursing the mother. He did - but I couldn't really see clearly the kittens with the mother? But I hoped they were. Anyways after several unanswered texts and calls, he finally answered his phone. Apparently they died 'ummm a couple days ago'. Yeah whatever. I can't prove anything but my gut feeling is a bad one.
