Government of Canada - Passport Office

Applied for my Adult Passport and I arrived at the Point-Claire office at 9:30 AM on a Monday and waited about 1 hour in the waiting room upstairs. When your number is called, it 20 minutes and you are out of the room. Staff was very nice and welcoming. If you don't want to wait as long, arrive at 8:30 AM when it opens. Overall really good experience, bring something to keep you busy while waiting. If you are not patient, then apply by the mail.

This organization is so unprofessional! I was told to come back the next day after waiting for three hours for services. I was told to just tell the guards so I won’t have to wait all those hours again just for me to come and be told I have to wait the same hours all over again! This place is ridiculously unorganized and need to better evaluate themselves!

CF Fairview Pointe Claire - Passport officeService is excellent. Very organized, super friendly, and helpful staff, excluding the security at the door.There are two queues. One with appointment and one without. Queue without appointment/30 persons. Queue with appointment/3 persons. I was the third one in line on the Queue with appointment. The security at the door let the 2 appointments before me enter, stopped me, then let all the queue without an appointment to enter.Why even bother to make an appointment online if the rules are not respected?We should all just go there, pile up in a line, 2 hours before they open, stay crowded for an hour or two and then enter before the ones with appointment. I made my reservation in April for June. Why bother when I could just go there, stay in line like everyone else, and being favored to enter before the ones that had an appointment.I think the rules must be respected by all, including the Security Staff at the door!Disappointed!

Arrived at 8:05 to beat the lineup, there were around 15 people ahead of me.Was able to finish everything up by 9:20.Friendly and smooth experience overall.Thank you everyone!

It’s 3 May 23, I reached at 8:20, there was 52 person before me at 10 o’clock I was done , I received a nice customer service.The team was professional and ready to help , even the security at the door.Bravo and keep it up like this plz

8 windows for employees ,only 3-4 are working .They are super slow you will wait minimum an hour to see someone even with an appointment. I suggest to bring what ever documents you have because they will ask for it and if you missing one they will not take your application and they will not give you a number to facilitate your return. One more thing don't come without an appointment except if you want to apply for urgent application,the waiting line is sooo long .When you see an agent you will be served fast and original documents will return to you on spot.So depending on the season you may expect with an appointment there is 1-2 hrs waiting and then 15 minute with an agent and you are good to go after.

Got here at 8 AM.Take entrance 5 in Fairview pointe Claire mall. Enter from Brunswick blvd. Walk straight and the service canada should be on the right. It won’t show up on the mall search directory.There are two queues. One with appointment and one without.I was second in the queue and I got into the office at around 10 AM. It’s a token system inside where you get a token from reception (counter 1 and 2) and wait for your number on a TV screen.I was out with the completed formalities by noon. Staff was polite and helpful and spoke both French and English fluently.

Did well for a government office. Still a long wait 2-4hrs if you're trying to walk-in for a passport.

Excellent service lady wasn't the nicest but less then one hr get there early the line to get a ticket is long and you have to stand till you get the ticket. Male sure the photo is signed. And if you want express you need a ticket with traveling date.Update June 23 got my passport took less than a week
