Lovely little boutique, everyone is friendly and helpful, and they pack a ton of stuff into a small space and it all looks amazing. Unfortunately, like many things today their prices are going up and this is not a store for people who would normally shop at value Village. This is a vintage store, and you're going to pay an above average price. But they do have some really interesting things there and with a little digging you can always find something very unique and cool. Just be prepared to pay for it.

Elsie’s is one of the best places to second hand shop in Halifax. It’s a consignment store that has clothing for about every kind of person. All items that I have purchased from here have been extremely reasonable in price and in excellent shape/great quality. I would recommend this shop to any clothing lover or anyone that appreciates a great place to grab second hand items!

I have never written a negative review online but this time I have to cause whoever answering the phone was so rude. She interrupted me several times during our conversation and hanged up when I wasn’t finished talking. Going through the review I noticed that other sellers were also having bad experiences with this store. They are only nice to buyers and not sellers which is ridiculous cause sellers are potential customers too!

I've found some cute things here over the years and aside from the store being PACKED with odds & ends, I do find it an enjoyable experience to look through everything. The prices are hit or miss. I find them a tad aggressive on the 'can you pay cash and you'll save the tax' line when you go to pay. I get it, merchant fees are a pain but asking a customer to walk around the block to the bank so a business can save a few bucks is tacky in my opinion.

Eh. I don't know- I think its mostly for people willing to spend a lot on old clothes because they're antique or rare. Definitely expensive- but that have a lot to look through. It's a pretty tight space so I didn't feel like digging for something I can't afford. Things are either not great(like spandex leggings) in the 5$ bin or kinda cool for over 100 dollars. Anyway- not for me.
