I would have loved to come here with my husband. I received a 1 night stay with my wedding package last year at kings riding and after 1 or 2 responses back by email I was completely ignored and wasn’t able to get any response back to complete a booking. It’s a shame because I understand it is complimentary but if you’re not wanting people to use the voucher then don’t offer it at all..

Cozy, beachside cottage with wood-burning fireplace. Breakfast buffet needs some attention (expired jams) and dining room isn't up to the standard of other nearby dining experiences.

I have been here many times and loved the food this visit I wasted 100 on food that wasn’t for to eat. The chicken sandwich is tenders on bread the wings over cooked and burned they didn’t even shovel or plow for us to get from room to dinner . I emailed them about it no response what a waste of money and the food prices through the roof. And we ordered basic food good thing we didn’t order steak !

Beautiful location with great near the lake, unfortunately there are too many trees obscuring the view. The buildings are nice but dated. Bedding was comfortable . Most of the dining room staff were great especially Jason and Susan . Divya at reception was very respectfull and helpfull. But Betty could use some social skills that are necessary for reception . There are 2 main hotel buildings and many cottages . The parking lot needs evening out and fixing, dangerous for elderly to walk. In fact all the area between the buildings should be made even/ levelled, since too many slopes for walking.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting muskoka. It was so rustic and charming inside privately located on the lake- it was so much nicer than staying at a regular hotel. The staff made it that much better and especially the kind bartender! Definitely recommend.

Have been to Sherwood Inn four times now and we always have a lovely stay. The staff are least extremely friendly and helpful and the grounds are lovely. I like that they have a beach, docks, and Muskoka chairs all around the property to sit at. Also really enjoy that they have kayaks, canoes and paddle boards to borrow. Have really enjoyed canoeing around the lake and seeing all the lovely cottages and boat houses.

We found the food was incredibly over priced, it was a nice resort, suite was comfortable. The atmosphere was nice and once we approached the management they addressed our meal issue. We will go back as they were very responsive and appreciated our feedback.

It’s a bit dated, but in a charming way. The property is great, all the extra amenities are awesome, fat tire bikes, cross-country skis, snow shoes…A great little hidden getaway

This area is breathtaking. Staff was very attractive and management was friendly and involved. Will definitely go back!
