Fantastic experience at Volkswagen Grenier! Janie Déry was our representative and she did an amazing job in accommodating our purchase of an Electric Vehicle in this hot market. She was thorough and took her time to explain every detail to us! A real pleasure to work with.

Unprofessional sales associate. Tried to buy a vehicle on the spot full cash, and their website was not letting me register. Contacted numerous times and “Sebastian” selling a vehicle, wasting our time and making us go through the process with drivers license and everything, just to notify us that the car is already being sold to somebody through finance. When we call we get told he’s “busy” and just completely ghosted. Wouldn’t recommend their 2faced service.

C'est poche!On a Friday evening, we have agreed on a price to buy some used car (a very high price) if it will pass an independent inspection from some other car dealer garage.I have paid a deposit for this, then some guy (named Patrick) told me on next Monday morning that if I will not close the deal with them on Monday, without the inspection done, they will sell it to a higher bidder.And, since I have insisted for a few days to have the chance of getting an independent inspection done (I had already took an appointment for this), they sold it to a higher bidder.

The worst experience ever in a car dealer. The sales person …. was so disrespectful to us. Asked us thousand question got all the info from us but she did not even give us a price at the end. She made us feel like we are going there to ask for charity not to buy a car. Her approach was so not professional, intimidating, arrogant, rude….!?A client is a client. It does not matter you’re gonna sell him something or not to be respectful to them. It cost nothing to be nice.In general the dealer approach is bad. They waist your time, take all information from you don’t give you any information , expect you to just tell them ok i am buying the car no questions asked.I really regret going there and will never go back.

Unimpressed by service, egotistic sales team (the ones i met) and ripped me off on the $2000 guarantee (now costs $3000). I paid for the extended guarantee to be covered until 100,000km. I came to see them right before my guarantee ended because I had been feeling a problem with my suspension. They told me there was no problem. 2 weeks later i came to see them because the problem worsened, i was around 100,500km and they said they could repair the problem for $1075+tax. I said i knew they could help me out considering I NEVER used a penny of my guarantee, and because i came to get the problem fixed BEFORE 100,000km. They said there’s nothing they can do for me and it was too bad. I literally gave them $2000 for that guarantee for absolutely no reason at all. My brother bought a car there a few weeks ago, they now raised the price to $3000.Bought my car about 4 years ago. Havent had unusual problems with the car, but this review is for GRENIER Volkswagen dealership; not Volkswagen as a car company.Will not be buying another car here unless the guarantee is free. Feel like i got robbed of a $2000 guarantee.PS: the repair they wanted to charge me $1075+tax for, i got it done by another mechanic for $450 tax-in. These guys are thieves it’s disgusting.UPDATE: Director of sales gave me a call. He didnt have the attitude of someone trying to help/make a customer satisfied; he was just trying to invalidate my review which was a terrible way to handle an unhappy customer. I speak french but sometimes have trouble finding my words, so i asked « do you speak any english » his answer, in french « on est a Mascouche donc je va m’exprimer en français » (we live in mascouche so im going to speak in french). Didn’t know he wanted to be geopolitical about helping a client, not to mention the fact that HE called ME; i wasn’t the one who wanted to talk, HE was. He did speak in english a couple minutes later, and spoke perfect english. He just didn’t WANT to earlier in the conversation because of political reasons. Clearly wasn’t doing his best to adapt to his client. He never offered me ANYTHING to try and change my mind. NOTHING. Not a free oil change, not free tire storage, not even a discount on anything. NOTHING. 30min phone call was nothing but an arrogant tone trying to validate why i got such poor service. Already wasn’t impressed with Grenier Volkswagen, now I will shop 1 hour away for my next car before i step foot in Grenier Volkswagen 5 min away from my house. If anyone in management is reading this, maybe consider hiring staff with a better notion of customer service because this phone call didnt brighten my review on Grenier Volkswagen; it made it worse.PS: im not someone who just leaves 1star/2star reviews to hurt reputations. My reviews are honest; i have more positive reviews on my profile than bad ones. This place of business was just that bad of an experience.

Worst car buying experience ever, they tried to overcharge me almost 7000$, and promised accessories they could not provide. They forced my installments on a 84 months term when I was looking for something shorter. I had to cancel the transaction because it was a pure and simple scam. I DO NOT RECOMMEND VW GRENIER TO ANYONE unless you want to get robbed. Steer away from this car dealership

Got my first car there. I live quite far from there (1-2 hours drive), and I regret nothing. Our seller, Hachem Grari, was transparent and understanding of our need and restraint. The sales director, Danik Lariviere, was humble and also understanding when negotiating. There were no surprise when getting the car. I've been driving the car for the past week. No problem for now. I highly recommend going over there. I felt no pressure from anyone. Great first experience.

Terrible customer service, very unprofessional sale associate. Poor client care. Website has issues yet denies it. One particular sale associate named Sébastien just wasted our time. He was suppose to call back never returns the calls, we would call again and they would tell us he will call us back… for 3 occasions. Waist of time. Over all not the place to buy a car when staff is below standard customer service. We ended buying from a dealership that is professional.

I wouldn’t recommend this place, they simply don’t keep up their word, might as well just don’t say/promise something.

I purchased a vehicle from Grenier around Feb. 20, 2019. Unusual the vehicle only came with 1 set of keys I contacted the sales person which did not do anything. Then I wrote a review which Grenier replied indicating some director will be contacting me shortly. Well it is almost 1 month and no one from Grenier contacted me. The funny thing is that XM satellite has been calling me three or four times a day, and an email a day after my purchase because the salesman took all my contact information and I guess forwarded to XM satellite. So take Grenier's reply with a grain of sale that some director will contact me because no one did or even tried. To make a telephone call or write an email is not so hard to do. For all those potential buyers Beware because once they take your money and given you the vehicle it is Adios Amigos".This is a Bait and switch scam
