Kiper Moving and Transportation

(Edit) Received a call from one of the representatives of the company only after leaving the review. He was extremely rude and was more concerned with the bad review rather than the moving of our belongings. They ended up rescheduling from 9am to 130pm and then from 130pm to 3pm to where they didn’t show up again. This review was meant for Kiper moving LLC so there is no mistake in that. I stick with my initial opinion of the company and the call received just solidifies it.Had movers lined up to move all of our belongings on a Saturday morning at 9, They ended up not showing up and ultimately we lost our deposit. Tried calling from multiple numbers to no Avail, each one went to voice mail until ultimately being blocked. This Company is extremely sketchy and I genuinely question the legitimacy of it. I do NOT recommend anyone uses this company for moving needs or anything else that they advertise.

STAY AWAY!! Kiper did not know how to load a large truck, causing us to leave behind many things that could have fit. Workers were slow and not well trained. The worst part was they dropped a mattress through a vintage window and only reimbursed half of the repair cost so we were out $500. They would not return calls...would not explain why they only paid half, even though they told us on move day IF we paid them that day, and submitted invoice for repair (which was more than we owed them), that they would pay us. We spent hours resolving this issue and handling the stained glass repair. They did not process claim through their insurance although we were told they were insured when we hired them.

We used their moving services to unload a 17ft Uhaul and my SUV and they did an amazing job! My couch was especially difficult to fit through the doors and they were patient and worked tirelessly to make it work. I would absolutely recommend them and hire them again myself!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE KIPER MOVING!I hired Kiper Moving to relocate from Buffalo, NY to TN. What a major mistake that was! I entrusted them with all my belongings and they failed me big time. I’ll try to be brief yet provide you with the details to discourage you from making the same mistake I did. I was attempting to support a local business, rather than going with one of the big guys.Dante Griggs, Managing Partner/General Manager, had come to my house to do the estimate, so he knew exactly how much I had to move (boxes, totes, furniture, etc.). My move was planned for mid-February, 2022.The crew, led by Dante, showed up with a 26’ truck. At some point, they realized only boxes and totes would fit in the original truck and a second truck would be needed. A second smaller truck was loaded with the furniture. Then it was determined that my miscellaneous household items, such as garden furniture, tools, plants, large planters, standing fans, wall pictures, paper shredder, etc. wouldn’t fit in the second truck. Kiper retained the services of a moving broker for a third load.I believe the trucks were loaded improperly and there was room in each truck for the items to be jostled around and fall on each other. Many, many furniture and other items sustained damage in the move. Dante took pictures on unloading day as damage was discovered. He was to get back to me the next day to discuss damages. He has never gotten back to me to this day about a damage allowance or item replacement.The damages were upsetting enough, but then the third truckload has never shown up. I have sent multiple emails and called many many times to no avail. The business office phone goes right to voicemail and calls are not returned. Emails go unanswered.Unfortunately, it is cost prohibitive to go the legal route. Any action has to be done in Buffalo because that’s where Kiper does business. So, the little guy loses and bad business suffers no consequence. Writing this review is my only course of action in the hopes that no one else has to endure the losses I have.

We moved to houses into one home. Communication was great ,expectations were laid out and followed appropriately. The movers were respectful and careful with our belongs and got the move done without any issues or damaged items. So glad I chose Kiper and will definitely recommend them to all my friends and loved ones

UPDATE (as of 5/31/22): I received a call back from their office today to give an explanation on what happened which was good to hear and the company did offer to cover some of my expenses. I was apperciative for the outreach and professionalism and change my original review score because of this experience.(Original review date 5/27/22): Just wanted to come here and say I do not recommend that anyone utilizes Kiper Moving and Transportation LLC for your future moving needs. I had a move scheduled for this past saturday and they never showed up. No call, email, or text. Just nothing. Ended up having to rent a uhaul and do the move myself at 7 at night.

We had a great experience a local move with Kiper Moving, with two stops. I was so impressed at Dante’s driving skills with such a big truck. He maneuvered it really well everywhere we went! The whole move went quickly and smoothly and we are really grateful for their work

I have used Kiper a few times and let me tell you they are very efficient. Excellent professional service! The movers were very polite and attentive. They moved all my furniture and fragile items without damaging anything. They made sure all my needs were met. I would highly recommended Kiper Moving and Transportation for any of your moving needs. Without a doubt a five star company.

Dante was awesome-when one worker cancelled at the last minute he stepped in to help. They finished unloading the truck in nothing flat.Gold stars for Fante and team!

I was very pleased with Kiper moving for my move. Their customer service was highly professional and courteous, and the movers were the same, as well as efficient. I had a number of extra heavy furniture items that they had to take up and down stairs which they did with skill. My whole apartment was moved within a respectable time frame, making the move stress free. I was satisfied with the service and would use them again.
