Drove all the way to Morris from Winnipeg because the owner said he had barn wood available. DIDN'T HAVE any when I got there!! Told me that it he would have some within a week or so. Didn't get a call, so I had to email and call numerous times before I got a response and when he responded he thought I was another customer and replied with a different issue. This type of thing went on for 4+ weeks - just very poor service and highly unorganized and from what I saw over priced. Not sure how people like this stay in business. I'd give this place a 0/5 stars if I could.

Serge and his team swooped in on short notice and restored my little log home, completely exceeding my expectations. Incredible workmanship, excellent communication, and the kindest folks you can imagine. It was clear that the most important thing to Serge was making his customer happy, and he went over and above what was in the quote and completely surprised me! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, as this guy is one of a kind. I want to shout recommendations for Cottage Depot from the rooftops. Thank you, Serge!!!!

Called and asked about barn board and was told that they had lots in stock so we drove from Lockport to Morris only to find out they had NOTHING in stock. He told us it would take a week to fill out the order and to text him a reminder. After several text messages and two phone calls of promises on delivery, two months went by! Worst experience ever.

Last month I had my 40 year old log home in Gimli restored and repaired by the Cottage Depot team and the results are absolutely stunning! Their professionalism, attention to every detail, superb craftsmanship and guidance are very much appreciated. I highly recommend them for any project large or small. Merci Serge!
