I-Remit, International Remittance (Canada) LTD.

My father in law died bcos my family in the Philippines did not receive the money we sent as i-Remit had promised they'll received it. We told the owner we were sending the money to help my father in law with his brain surgery and that IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that my family have to receive the money on the day or at least within 3 days as i-Remit has promised. We also asked they were to contact us if they run into a problem. Two weeks past, i-Remit did not contact us, we just received a phone call one day from our family that dad passed away bcos HE WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE THE SURGERY. My family had to find other means to get the money for his surgery, i-Remit didn't send the money, they did not contact us or updated us. My brother in law tried to withdraw the money a couple of times thru their bank and pawn shop affiliates to no avail. The owner and i-Remit should be liable to my father in law's death. When we visited the Ellice branch to inquire, the owner didn't even felt sorry. She didn't even apologized. :(
