Rimouski is a beautiful small city located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, Canada. Having visited Rimouski, I would like to share my review on the city's attractions, culture, and overall experience.Rimouski is situated on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, which offers stunning views and a peaceful ambiance. The city has a variety of attractions that cater to different interests. The Rimouski Regional Museum, for instance, is a great place to learn about the history and culture of the region. The museum also features an impressive collection of marine specimens, including a whale skeleton.Another notable attraction is the Bic National Park, which is located nearby. The park boasts stunning landscapes, with rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and dense forests. Visitors can enjoy hiking, camping, and wildlife watching in the park. The city also has a rich cultural scene, with several festivals and events held throughout the year. The Festival Country de Rimouski, for example, celebrates the country music and culture of the region, while the Festival de musique actuelle de Victoriaville brings together musicians and artists from around the world for a unique and innovative musical experience. In terms of cuisine, Rimouski has a variety of restaurants and cafes that offer delicious local specialties, such as seafood and cheese. The city also has a thriving craft beer scene, with several microbreweries and taprooms that offer a range of unique and flavorful beers.Overall, Rimouski is a charming and welcoming city that offers a variety of attractions, activities, and experiences. It is a perfect destination for nature lovers, history buffs, and culture enthusiasts, and it is well worth a visit. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the scenery is breathtaking. I highly recommend Rimouski as a must-visit destination in Quebec, Canada.

Only stayed one night but enjoyed the facility and the pool, which is open from 8am to 9pm.Comfy beds, nice blackout curtains, only downside is that the air conditioner is blocked to 19.5 celsius, which is way too warm for me personally.

Top notch on every level. The location of this hotel is amazing! Right next to the St Lawrence seaway. The view from our room was also amazing! We will definitely be returning to this place. Great walking distance to many restaurants and bistros. We had an excellent time.

We liked our stay on the waterfront. Staff was very customer focused and made our stay. Restaurant food was good, but pricey. I had yogurt, fruit and coffee for breakfast and it was $25.

I was quite disappointed with this hotel. First, this hotel is LOUD, I could hear conversations throughout the evening quite loudly in my room. The night itself it did quiet down. The bed is OK and the pillows are good. The check in was mediocre at best. The room I got was spacious enough. There are blackout curtains but they don't cover the borders of the windows and my room faced a bright parking area so the room wasn't too dark throughout the night. My main gripe is that the AC in the room did not work. I tried calling the front desk for over 75 minutes to get it resolved without answer. It was 9pm when I started calling but you would think à 4 star hotel would have evening staff. The next morning at checkout I told the staff of the AC and not getting anyone at the front desk and he just told me he would look into it. That's it.My first choice in Rimouski was full and I regret choosing this place as an alternative.

We normally have a relaxed stay when we use this hotel. HOWEVER... be advised, if there are any children's tournaments being held, it will be filled with kids running and screaming all the time you are there. They have absolutely no regard for other guests, even severely disabled ones, such as my wife, who was repeatedly knocked into walls and made fun of, because she has to use a cane to walk. The staff were notified, but it continued. It is so bad, we are cutting short our planned trip and returning early. For a hotel that charged us $250+ per night, it is certainly below standard. We will not be returning.

I chose the hotel because of the pool, and after 3 days here, I have to say it was the best choice. My kids loved it! They simply went down the slide a thousand times. The room was very comfortable, very clean and spacious. Frigobar, coffee maker, TV... everything ok. Good location. We loved it.

I have stayed at Hotel Rimouski many times for business. I have had great service and experience every time. It is right on Bas St Laurent so there is a beautiful view from the restaurant Brigade 225. Their ribs are amazing and the steak pizza is my favourite!

Great place and location. The restaurant is amazing. The fitness room is lacking, I've been coming here regularly for over 5 years and most of the cardio equipment has been broken and in desperate need of replacement.

Great great location with lots of parking their rooms are big and very clean and up-to-date this is also a convention center. They have a pool which is nice and a hot tub with a slide for kids. Lots of rooms in the main hall ways really big space . You're right near the water you can enjoy some great views all around the hotel would definitely recommend.
